Alright so here are the two cold war launch shotguns. This took a very short time as you can expect. Upcoming is the DLC Shotguns being the Streetsweeper and .410 Ironhide.


1) Hauer 77

"Pump-action shotgun. High damage with a possible 1-shot kill in close quarters. Hand loaded with moderate rechamber speed."

Insanely generic pump shotgun with mediocre animations. At least it didn't cause too many issues while making it.

Shotguns are considered secondaries in cold war so you can equip them next to your primary weapon. This shotgun is seriously overpowered in zombies mode, so I used this and the gallo a whole lot. Not that much in multiplayer though, although you can easily delete people with this.

Yeah so shotguns do not have foregrips in cold war and not many magazine options. There are funny barrels and non-wood stocks that change the pump to non-wood as well. For the first time stickers are supported and I plan to make all my ARC9 weapons to support it some time.


2) Gallo SA12

"Semi-auto shotgun. Reliable damage and pellet spread. Heavy recoil and low visibility when sustaining fire."

The cold war implementation of the SPAS-12 with a hilarious name. Gallo means ♥♥♥♥ in Italian for those who don't know. I like how the reload animation changes depending on the configuration of the stock.

Similarly to the hauer this gun is really good in zombies so I maxed it out almost instantly when I got this game. Don't have much experience in multiplayer with this though.

Alongside the support of the sticker system, this gun has a few customization options as well. Optic attachments unfold the stock and/or you can choose to do that with any stock attachment.

-As you may have guessed, I am having a lot of trouble finding time to develop weapons. I push updates to github whenever I work on something and you can check it out. Mind that content on my github might be broken or sub-standard as they have not been polished yet or enough for a full workshop release. This is my recommendation if you do not have the patience to wait for workshop releases and I really understand that.

-You can get BOCW attachments here.

-I have changed the method and source for making my materials. I now use textures from Warzone and different tools. It is both faster to do and looks better in my opinion and this may affect the filesizes. I plan on replacing the materials in older ARC9 weapon packs with better ones when I have the time. Massive thanks to ZaihnY and MushroomGuy.

Hey man, mind revealing the magic as to how the hell you extracted BOCW assets? I specifically want to know about sounds. I tried finding tools for it but nothing works or rather I can't get it to work. Any help would be appreciated man!

For whatever reason the hauer/ithaca is behaving somewhat strange on my end. That being no ironsight positions being implemented, the animations being mixed up (like instead of pumping when shooting/cycling it loads a shell, and when it reloads, it pumps then it holds the weapon down. And another thing is the polymer stocks give a missing texture reflection on the pump. Initially i thought it was cause i had the github that still had the unfinished hauer in it, but even after updating my version of the github mod, the issue is still there... I'm not sure what to do now.
