Description
What is this you ask?
Crazy BOT ( Orginially known as creepy BOT ) is a fun mod i kept private with me and my friends and i decided to release it.

Note: You need to load up the game in multiplayer for it to work.

Description

Crazy BOTs take player slots in the server and are classed as player entitys.

( using the navmesh )
They will wander around near a human player until provoked.
Once provoked, The BOTs will chase after the target for a while until sight is lost for a around 10 seconds, or the target becomes invalid ( death )
It could be fun to play with these on a spooky map of some kind.
There are several customization options, But please note i hardly work on this mod anymore as it was just for fun ( see features below ).

Features

* You can add BOTs via the spawnmenu.

* Does not override the default gmod BOTs.

* They use the navmesh to navigate and find players.

* Settings can be customized in the spawnmenu.

* You can choose a weapon they all BOTs will use.

* You can force BOTs to use a certain player model.

* BOTs can use the tf2 medi-guns mod. ( https://steamoss.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2889653154 )

* BOTs are more focused on being creepy. Just you watch them turn slowly to face you.

* If Voice Up is enabled in the settings BOTs can call for help. ( Kill them before they finish their sentence to stop them )

* BOTs can open doors and break breakable props to get to you.

* BOTs can attack NPCs that attack them ( but not nextbots )

How to use

Load up anymap ( In multiplayer and not single player ) that has a navmesh, ( You can generate one with nav_generate if it does not )

Open your spawnmenu and goto ==> Options ==> CrazyBOTs Mod ==> Settings.
Then click the ( add bot button ) to add the player BOTs to the server.

Config as you wish and enjoy.

Additional Information

This is a simple time killer made for fun, So i don't plan to do many updates on this.

BOTs require the map to have a navmesh in order to navigate.
Without one they will have trouble doing basically anything.

BOTs can secretly ( sometimes seen in open spaces ) teleport to a nearby player.

BOTs can lag the server if the spot they are trying to reach is unreachable VIA the navmesh.

BOTs may sometimes fight eachother if one kills a teammate.

We were worried the best medigun addon was lost forever. I'm extremely grateful of you for doing this for us! Just tested and It works as good as I remember it.

Unfortunately there was a script in my gmod configs that cleaned up unused GMAs, I deleted the line that did that now, oops :(. I very much thank you for going through the hassle to do all of this for a few lads.

lol. in theory you should still have the files on your pc, since gmod does not normally automatically delete them. alternatively i can always upload the project to one drive, and you could download it there. i will have to search my pc for the mod again, since i never keep things tidy lol.

That's quite unfortunate, is it possible to share the tf2 medigun files somewhere else? Assuming there's no problems dumping abandoned projects of course. I don't mind if it's buggy with age, if it's unbearable I might just relearn lua and manually fix it for myself lol

Woah! i am late here. sorry about that guys. The reason i removed the tf2 mediguns mod is because i am done with gmod, but i removed all my addons that use 3rd party content ( by other authors ) or were just broken and buggy. Anyways, the medi-guns mod used clavus swep construction kit to position the viewmodels and world models on the player. because i don't really want to deal with maintaining these mods in the future when i am busy with my new projects.
