Greetings. Thanks for stopping by to check out this latest fix-up installment: STONED MEN.

What we've got here is a nearly decade-old model originally devised by Evil-Ash that was released to Garrysmod.org. The addon survived the sinking of the aforementioned website and was 'auto-uploaded' to Garrysmods.org, where it currently resides buried beneath mountains of outdated, broken refuse. ...Almost forgotten.

Qualitatively the 'Stone Man' / 'Citizen Golem' is an interesting subject with potential for greater use -- provided that specific liberties are first taken. So I did just that; necessary revamps/updates were [lovingly] implemented to meet contemporary necessities (as outlined in the following section).

All due credit is provided in an incorporated "CREDITS" lua file within the .gma itself and displayed further below. I will be / I am more than happy to rightfully co-author Evil-Ash without question or hesitance, for my intent is only to re-introduce an obscure work to current times. (For the time being, though, direct communication cannot be made via his steam profile, and am unaware of other avenues of reliable contact. Passing a word to him, if possible, would be most appreciated.)

Stone Man

The origin of this citizen's dubious condition remains disputed. Explanations have encompassed--but are by no means limited to--the following on his being:

[+] Turned to rock by a Medusa head.

[+] Victim of a freak accident involving a cement mixer and a wine cork.

[+] He's not a man, but an automaton; brought to life through sediment, old cottage cheese and thaumaturgy.

[+] He's not made of stone -- an illusory cognitohazard is to blame.

[+] He's not made of stone -- it's either a gigantic conspiracy or you're all insane.

Not much of a talker and sinks like... a rock, but packs a lot of defense! Terrified of jackhammers and drilling equipment. Harbors unspeakable hatred for rats with wings.

The Stone Man finally decided to embark from his lackluster career as a pigeon toilet into the world of painting. Constantly the butt of jokes and at the receiving end of spray cans.
