gm_halo

This is a small project which is a scaled down replica of a ring from the video game series, Halo. It circums the maximum size allowed by garry's mod.

This is primarily made for screenshot and film making purposes. Or simply space warfare.


- 4 small promethean towers that fire orbs occasionally.
- A control room which allows for the enabling and disabling of the atmosphere.
- A custom 2D skybox (4096 * 4096 resolution) painted in Gimp2, custom sun sprite texture, ground and cloud textures.
- Two black holes: one is a teleporter to the control room; one destroys anything including players. Each of them produce gravitational pulls, refraction of light, creepy scree sound, and a redshift doppler effect.

- Burnfingers (publishing the Halo Texture Mega-pack [gamebanana.com] used in this map. Make sure you read the description of the texture pack if you wish to use them).
