Best war sim out there, hands down. Graphics seem dated at first, but it's a MASSIVE improvement over Combat Mission, and you'll adapt to it.

Incredible attention to detail.

The sound effects are pretty awful, but there are mods that fix this (I use RukiSoundMod), and they're very easy to install. No digging around in any files.

Don't worry about the UI or trying to figure out how to actually win... I spent the first 40 hours more or less clueless about how to actually play the game. The fun here comes from watching your units do their thing. Eventually, you'll pick up on how to do stuff, and then you can spend time watching your units do their thing more effectively.
One of the only truly realistic games out there.

Sorry comrade but I must remove you.. It's not your fault or anything like that but rather due to anxiety and other stuff I couldn't be a good friend.. Which is what I wished to do when I added you so I didn't look like another sucker who rides off a popular person's coat tails for personal gain

But I have failed and feel I wasted a spot on your friend's list.. It may not seem that important but to me it is.. And no I'm not trying to guilt trip you but I feel it's best I take my leave.. Not trying to guilt trip you either

I also have a keen interest in politics. I strongly support the human rights to privacy, health, liberty, and happiness. Most of our world's democracies are in trouble, as they've lost sight of this (and in most cases had only a tenuous grasp on the concept in the first place). As an American, some of the most critical steps toward saving our own democracy involve overturning the Citizen's United ruling, teaching critical thinking skills at all levels of education, and reigning in a dangerously powerful intelligence community. There's more, but you aren't here for an essay.
