its a well known fact they dont. right now playing horizon forbidden west a game the is impossible to play on steamOS without desktop mode. will crash 100% of the time on the 1st cutscene to the game. crashed 0 times on decktop mode. once i got past the 1st cutsene with a save gave gaming mode a 2nd try and less things load in like aloys glide shield is invisible. desktop mode also runs midnight suns, spiderman, and god of war better. ive got over 500+ hours on the deck and can safely say, gaming mode is bloatware.

About your comment on SteamOS's gaming mode: The entire point of that gaming mode is, that SteamOS doesn't have to load up as much bloat as in Desktop mode. Games should run and control better in gaming mode, obviously.

trying to remove all the failed screen shots of my steam deck and i guess if you select all and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ delete all it deteles your SCREEN SHOTS OFF ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ STEAM!!!!! 350 of them....i hate steam with a passion, and every update makes it worse
