I actually surprised at how good this remake turned out to be after the initial trailers it looked like it was going to be a ♥♥♥♥ show but they cooked hard and now we have a genuine contender for game of the year if they can iron out the current performance issues of the pre-release.

What was once a creative sandbox has become a breeding ground for absolute worsts kinds of degeneracy and illegal activity.
From pay to win to erotic role play servers, no moderation goes into the server list for this game at all and when you factor in the amount of underage literal children that play it's no wonder so many allegations against gmod server operators exist.

This game is monetised to hell and back to the point that that Ultimate Edition doesn't even include all the content less than a year after release.

There are issues, there are mods that fixes some of those issues.

MGS3 is still one of the best games ever made though and if you were to only play one game in the series make it this one (or MGS1 but it's more dated).

MGS3 works as a standalone title and requires no prior knowledge of the story to be enjoyed.
