A note on the games I like
I am generally open to any and all genres of video games, but I think my library tends to consist of (first person) shooters, RPGs, horror titles and a few of those darling indie games I think more people should be playing. The following is a overview of the kinds of stuff I play, which ones I think fondly atm, etc.

Resident Evil Village

A celebration of everything that makes up the RE series. It's campy but simultaneously somewhat serious, and the game finds ways to improve upon everything 7 did: more guns with clean gunplay, longer plot, weapon customization, collectables, etc. It does drag on a little bit at points and some of the backtracking was annoying, but where the game shines, it exceeds all my expectations, then throws in some complete suprises. Definitely worth a purchase.

Also, ray tracing may take up some performance, but the game looks absolutely stunning on my RTX 3070 with RT on.
