Don't buy the remaster.

Just get the classic.

Majority of the features from the remaster (Console Maps, Better Textures, Ventress etc) can be added in via modding. You can make your own servers as well.

Funny enough, *Remaster took a mod and added an older version for Ventress* so your not missing out much.

First things first:

There is no P2W. All of it has been people who either have no idea what they talking about due to not playing the game or repeating the same line as the former. You do NOT need to buy anything to unlock the premium tier.

SUPER CREDITS DROP IN HIGHER DIFFICULTIES. They spawn in map at POIs in chests and not at a extremely rare rate.
You can buy it to support the devs or you can play the game and go through it. It DOES not take you an 100 hours to get it either. Several of my friends are VERY close to unlocking it without even paying a dime. IT DOES NOT EXPIRE EITHER.

The weapons in the premium tier ARE NOT MORE POWERFUL THAN THE BASE WEAPONS. The explosive AR has half the fire-rate for a very very very small blast radius and even then does not make a huge difference. It does not make you godlike by buying it. You are still gonna die a ton with it. The electrical weapon has the same deal with it too.

The armors? Not really good. One has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ effect for limb damage which it has a chance to negate it but honestly limb damage can be healed via stims...which are plentiful on the map if you look at POIs and you can get refills from the supply pack backpacks and resupply drops as well. It looks neat but that's about it.

I highly recommend this game as a fan of the first one. Well worth the 40$ right now outside of a few nickpicks including no vehicles. I'm hoping they make a return along with the third faction in the first content update. Some of the wrecks on the maps happen to be them so there IS hope.

The switch to 3rd Person is great and honestly has made the game tougher. New mission types have been added to the mix as well.

AMD users should wait as the game is horrible for AMD GPUs right now. NVIDIA users should update their drivers if encountering issues.

Just an FYI: You are getting exactly what the platinum edition had in content with the enhanced edition. MP is working again although the playercount is still very low.

Enhanced Edition is a re-release of platinum edition that includes enhancements for modern PCs plus on-going enhancements that Beandog is continually doing. Modders have more freedom due to game logic getting less and less hard coded. You CAN turn the graphical enhancements off and be able to run this on a ♥♥♥♥ laptop.

Do note: The DLC is not required so to speak to enjoy this. There are plenty of community-made modules to have fun with.

As someone who played 4.1 on PS4 and saw Sandlot putting games on PC, I gave up and bought it. I'm familar with the series and know the history. EDF was originally a budget title that actually got more love when D3 realized it was selling a LOT outside Japan.

BEST TIME WASTER EVER. Completely non-serious and goofy.

There's a couple of people who say this is 4.1 reskinned but they did some changes to improve classes. Fencer has STUPID mobility MUCH MUCH later in the game when you get the items. Air Raider is actually not useless and your air strikes aren't tied to kills when it comes to recharge.

You DO NOT need any of the DLC items outside perhaps the DLC Missions. DLC Missions come with new weapons that are actually pretty damn good. Everything else is either joke items that you and your friends will use for five minutes and not use again or stuff that gets.

I used to love this game until $10 for one weapon.

Tripwire, ♥♥♥♥ right off with that considering you already have LOOT BOXES.

(I havent played much lately due to IRL problems, but will be jumping back in for the next update)

Y'know, No Man Sky fully reminds me of a old game that I used to play called Noctis. It was a game that your ship was just a box and you were exploring planets. It was a free niche game that ran in very tiny window. I enjoyed flying planet to planet exploring and wondering what I would find.

I still LOVE games like these. I mess around in Space Engine (pre-steam) and play Starbound from time to time.

I originally bought this game when it came out like many others. A lot of was Sean talking to outlets and hyping the game up. A lot of which he DID overhype due to how nevrous he was.
I wanted to give Hello Games a chance, but I was completely unsure if they would be able to bounce back from all the backlash. I had hope, but I decided not to wait around during that time and refunded the game. I later got Rainbow Six: Siege, which I still regret.
And you know what Hello Games did? They didn't give up. They obviously wanted to share a vision they had in a game. If it was anyone else, They would have walked away from the losses and went out of business.

No Man Sky is about the exploration. It's a bit of a chill game that you CAN play with your friends. There is a story, but it's mostly about the experience. The new story is interesting and gives YOU the player a better reason to keep going unlike what we got in the original release.
I'm really excited to experience this game in VR. I'm happy where Hello Games is taking this game and I can't see what else they have in store.

Give ti a try. You might like it.

Let's get this out of the way:

The negative reviews are idiotic people who are review bombing it because this game does not have good HOTS support nor TrackIR support. (are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kidding me?) Ace Combat is NOT a serious flight-sim. It's an arcade game. It's like people didn't do their research before buying this game.

NOW THEN

If you are coming from ♥♥♥♥-fest that was Horzion and are a long-time fan of the series, You'll be happy to know that Ace Combat 7 went back to the roots.

No quick-time events.
No barrel-rolling choppers.
No stupid dogfighting mechanic designed to make you go into set pieces and make you get sick of it.

It's back to how Ace Combat should be.

Did I mention the dogfight mechanic that made people sick on their stomachs and down right annoying is gone? ♥♥♥♥ that thing.

I haven't finished the campaign nor have I tried the multiplayer yet, but The PC port is not bad for a BANDAI NAMCO port. The game runs fantastic and looks amazing. My only two complaints is the game favors air-to-ground (several people have said something about this as well) and the varity of planes is kinda low compared to AC5

To be fair, I haven't experienced everything yet but I can already tell you that X4 is looking like a better game than Rebirth as I'm actually wanting to keep playing and not having to listen to a horrible co-pilot.

HOWEVER
I would advise waiting til the BIG updates start dropping. There is some bugs with the AI currently that make it difficult to play. Also, mods.
