This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great. I'm a huge fan of Monster Hunter and HIGHLY recommend it to people who are willing to give it try. I've been playing since Tri on the Wii and while this series isn't for everyone: Give it a damn try.

That being said, I can't recommend this version. Not yet. I have been one of the lucky few who can keep a constant 60fps without the effects causing lag, but this version needs some love before I can even tell someone to buy it.
- Several PC settings are broken currently.
- Framerate issues with elemental effects or a few other effects (for some people it seems not to be an issue like me)
- Multiplayer is constantly dropping. It seems to be a steamworks issue, but nobody is for sure yet.

Also, We don't even have the free monsters yet. We're supposed to be getting that some time after-launch from a PR person, but no timeframe.

I'm just going to say this outright: PubG is decent multiplayer game that I love playing with my friends, but the main issues going on right now make me want to not recommend it to people.

This game is infested with hackers. This isn't me being salty about not winning. This isn't me being salty about getting my ass handed me time after time even when I came so close to winning. You have hackers running around one-shotting people through walls in the head and running around the map with speedhacks. You have squads full of hackers running about INSTANT REVIVING THEIR TEAMMATES AND AIMBOTTING EVERYONE. It's not Modern-CoDs-On-PC level of bad, but it's getting there rather quickly. The new replay tool has been exposing more hackers than what people thought there were before.

BattleEye is not really stopping these people either. Bluehole knows about the problem and has been silencing people both on the steam community and offical forums.

EDIT: As of 2021, This review still remains the same. I will be updating it as below:

There is no question this is a good game, but the problem lies with it's developer and publisher whom have no regard for the GTA community. They do not see a person but rather dollar signs.

When this review was originally made, It was around the time that modding scene was getting hit with random DMCA because Take-Two believes modding will take money away from their cow. They came to an agreement with the community and set guidelines (and pretty much told people "just don't do it on GTA:O pls") in order to allow modders to mod without fear.

Then in 2021 they completely broke their promise and started DMCAing mods once again. Their greed knows no limits that they willing to throw one part of the community under the bus once more.

First of all, I spent a majority of my time on ARK with friends. my 50 hours were with people that I met in EVE Online and folks from my IT class in college. Majority of it was spent on Vanilla servers and then later custom servers.

Second of all, Do not support developers who actively refuse to listen to their community and then say "Well...We're trying to do better guys! I swear!". ARK's devs are one of those devs.
ARK used to be good very early on in Early Access until developers started to ignore all the problems of the game and think they know better.

I really really hate it when developers do this because then when people complain it will result in "THAT'S OUR DESIGN, DEAL WITH IT."

What problems you may ask?

- The game still runs like garbage on some of the even most beefiest computers which is downright embrassing due to the fact that Unreal Engine is one of the more stable engines around.

- Balance is all over the place. Players at lower tiers will get curb-stomped by players with higher tier weapons and armor about 100% of the time. The only way around this is just to deal with the grind. Good luck with this however because you will be constantly raided with no way to defend yourself.

- Releasing DLC before the game was even completed and then selling said DLC.

- Pricing your DLC to where it's 2x the base game's value.

- Game-breaking bugs reported for years never fixed. Majority of the reports are ignored.

- Banning people who go and make bugs well-known because they won't fix it.

- Begged the community to vote for them in Steam Awards one year with an incentive of a free dino.

- A grind that forces you to spend majority of your free time on ARK just to get somewhere.
Good luck on Vanilla servers and waiting HOURS to tame basic dinosaurs

- Vanilla servers are infested with hackers/cheaters/explioters. Some of these apprantly have ties to Wildcard.

- Wiping people who have done nothing wrong and letting explioters keep their ♥♥♥♥.

Oh and they also said the same thing for ATLAS. Guess what? The game is in the exact same situation where devs are constantly making changes the community does not want.
Also, Said cheaters from ARK who have connections to Wildcard suddenly had access to server consoles and began to stream snipe people by spawning whales in their sector or even on top of them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I really did like ARK when it first started but majority of my friends stopped playing because of this.

EDIT2:

Arcade is semi-out. Multplayer machines are still in works. The current machines are fun, however it's kinda laggy. Servers are FILLED currently and there are issues with the dev's host screwing them over.

I will say this latest update has me more interested into where they are going.

EDIT:

So, Tower Unite has updated quite a bit since I reviewed it. There has been some revisions done and I do like what is being done.

For those who are new: Tower Unite is a social-based game. It originally started out as GMOD Tower and later the devs went on to create this due to limitations of the engine GMOD uses. You can hang out with friends and play minigames or just watch youtube videos together.

It's a cool concept that I enjoyed. Tower Unite recently got workshop support and the developers are leaning on getting support for Arcade and Game Worlds (apprantly that is on the cards, but not out offically). You can use the workshop currently for player models and props for your condo.

So yeah, your condo. If you were either a fan of designing rooms for other social games or GMTower, You'll love it. They are your own space. All changes save when you disconnect. You can decrorate it as much yas you want. There are other condos you can buy ingame a well.

And none of this has mircotransactions.

none.

My past complaints were how the game seem like there was issues with ball race. More worlds have came out since and it's a lot more enjoyable. Also lag, While there is still a bit of lag, It's not as bad.

My only complaint is that compared to GMTower, Media opinions are limited. I wish we could put Twtich on tvs and other sites but perhaps that can be done after launch,

PLEASE NOTE: This review WILL be changed at a later date due to hardware problems. I'm going to go over what I managed to play while making sure my GPU didn't overheat itself.

I will say, Angels Fall First reminds me of mixure of battlefront 2 and a HL2 mod called Entenal Silence. ES had the same basis as this game, but the aging engine held it back a considerable amount with it's space combat. From what I've seen so far, There are two types of maps: Ground and Space. I have NOT played Ground maps just yet due to said hardware problems.

I'm loving that the game lets people pilot the frigates that spawn in space maps. I'm loving we are able to outfit our fighters to some degree.
The problems I have with this game so far is this: The UI is bit of a clutter and the game seems to have a bit of a lag problem. I still think this game will be awesome by the time it leaves EA and fixes the problems it has.

From the Depths seems to be a Space Engineers-type game on the surface with boats with an RPG-like level system that rewards players.
How do you know if this is for you? Do you enjoy boats? Do you enjoy making a boat with legos? Do you enjoy blowing ♥♥♥♥ up?

Please understand this: Robbaz makes the game look easy. Do NOT play Campaign without getting the hang of building boats in the editor. Your first boat will be a bit blocky and will be flipping itself trying to move, but you'll get use to it if you take time to learn the game.

My only complaints with this game is I honestly wish there was more tutorials, as this game is still tough with the current tutorials right now. The other complaint is that the UI COULD be less bloated.

Sky Rogue is a mix of Roguelike and Ace Combat, If that makes any sense for you. It's actually pretty great. You fly missions and shoot a certain number of targets given to you and hopefully go onto the next day and face more targets and stuff. Dying shoots you back to day one with the option of using research points to unlock weapons and planes.

For an Early Access game and an Alpha, This game has enough content to justify the $10 cost. The AI seem to be much better compared to version 16, in which they were unforgiving. If my review still does not work for you, give the demo a try on the dev's site.

I'm still playing this right now but I'm already in love with it. RWS did a DAMN fine job with this. I'm really excited for when Postal Redux comes out thanks to this.

Pros:
+ Good soundtrack from FeelIrony.
+ Good humor in this
+ Some damn good potshots to recent events that made me laugh my ass off (Double Fine and GamerGate are good examples)
+ A few new weapons including a several secert weapons
+ Postal's dude voice returns!
+ More content than Postal 2. I really love the amount of content in this DLC and worth the money I paid

Cons:
- Is it bad that I want more? :P
- Some weird framerate drops once in a while. Don't believe this is RWS's fault at all.
- Noticed several bugs including the models of weapon being untextured on the bottom (shears), managed to break the game twice by somehow triggering a scene in Hell Hole, and a few other things. I will pop a email to RWS with the everything later.
