THIS NUMBER OF HOURS DOESN'T REPRESENT MY ACTUAL EXPERIENCE OF THIS GAME!!! I USED TO PLAY THE NON STEAM VERSION AND I GOT THE STEAM VERSION AS A GIFT!!!


I remember playing this for the first time like it was yesterday... It was a time when there was no CSGO fanatics but CS 1.6 and F2P asian games, GMod was popular as heck, YouTube was so much better, TFC vs TF2, COD vs Battlefield and people were suffering waiting for Episode 3. To be honest, I could have been those type of kids who just wanted to grind on CS 1.6 and play LAN Parties / Online Tournaments. It didn't happen at all, because, thankfully, I tried out Half-life 1 (from non steam CS 1.6 client) and I met the wonderful world of Valve and their games. After googling for more Valve games, I got tons of information about them. Although, what got my attention was this old school class and team based shooter called Team Fortress.

Since I had Pentium 3, 512MB of RAM and Windows XP 32-Bits laptop, I only could play TFC and GoldSource based games. So, I gave this game a shot... And oh boy, until this day, I don't regret my decision.
The community was unique and, overall, friendly. There were tons of community made content, like maps, plugins, ect. The gameplay was (and still is) so fast paced and high skilled. Back then, this game was perfect, despite of its flaws of course (nades spam, not newbie friendly, some class balance issues, ect).

I was just a filthy casual gamer who grinded alot on adventure and escape maps from a US server, if I am not mistaken, but that server is the source of all my best childhood moments that are still alive on my brain. Also, that server was where I met some remarkable people.

Despite of not being active as it used to, I am thankfull that I have these memories and all thanks to this old masterpiece. Thank you TFC and community.

Entrei numa lobby cheia de tugas a darem ear ♥♥♥♥, a chamarem bonés às coroas dos outros players, a gritarem SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM, darem block e empurrarem uns aos outros. Foi uma experiência única e cheia de diversão!
