A classic. A linear storyline with a polished approach for VR. Fundamentally built for VR Half-Life: Alyx exceeds my standards of story telling and environment. I only do hope that it will become more moddable in the future.

But thats not the reason I am giving it a negative review. Valve is quite bad at maintaining the community within steam and has led to a less than desirable place to socialise on. This is a review bomb and quite frankly there is a good reason this type of backlash exists. To let you know something associated with the title is wrong. It may not be the actual game in the end. It's sad that we cannot specify why or what specifically we don't like more clearly but it's designed that way.

A lovely one to boot up on a rainy day without an internet connection.

Half-Life 2 uses Havok Physics which can make for some interesting scenes where you throw a grenade back to an enemy or punt a toilet at a combine with the gravity gun. Half-Life 2 also uses various techniques to keep you on track without a minimap or map marker aswell. Crates will drop items you need dynamically like ammunition for your pistol or health if your health is low.

This game has depth and will test your puzzle soving and improvisation skills.

Pleasantly surprised. Works well with Garry's mod.

People need money in order to live. A lot of these DLCs are just there to fund the developers lives. They may not contain any interesting content and that is the point. Don't think of the DLCs as a Symmetric Exchange of goods. When you buy a DLC for space engineers you are donating to the developers. They will give back in other ways if they can with bug fixes and cool ass content free for everyone! Yes it does fragment the player base with blocks but more likely than not the developers make these blocks more cosmetic or decorative than anything. A good example was the Large Parabolic Antenna from the Frostbite DLC. No inherent gain in range and more space use.
