The Heads of Infinity Ward are officially cut. You can read some of the story all over the internet but the idea is:

They were under investigation for being in breach of their contact, and are officially off the job. Activision is taking over the franchise and word is they're going to release an Action/Adventure version of Call of Duty along side of people from Dante's Inferno and Dead Space. Treyarch will be making a new game this year and in 2011 but IW is DEAD.

What do you guys think about this!?


My Opinion:
SAY GOODBYE TO THE CALL OF DUTY FRANCHISE. Those of us who like MW2 enough to play it, enjoy while you can, this will probably be the last good Call of Duty game you ever play. I was hoping they'd learn from their mistakes and in MW3 we'd get an amazing game, but nah. We're getting an Action/Adventure title! AWESOME. -_-

I never thought I'd be looking at Treyarch as my last hope for a good Call of Duty game. ♥♥♥♥ you Activision.



MW2 may have it's flaws but it's a fun game, I've enjoyed it a lot more since I started playing on the PC as opposed to the BaddieBox.

Anyway what do you all think? This it for Call of Duty? =\





EDIT/UPDATE:

Treyarch is confirmed to be putting out a title in fall of 2010.

The newly formed Sledgehammer Games is putting out a title in 2011- the game that will "bring Call of Duty to other players" (the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ action/adventure title.)

There will be another title released in 2011 by an unnamed publisher. It is rumored(by the internet only) that this publisher will be a newly restructured Infinity Ward to put out MW3.



I personally can't wait for new genres!! I can see it now! Call of Duty: Kart Racer Warfare in 2012<3333

For all of you that follow the Half-Life series, you probably have been looking forward to Half-Life 2: Episode 3.

I have news for you! In case you weren't aware, in the latest issue of Game Informer Valve released a statement, I don't have a direct quote for you but I do know that Half-Life 2: Episode 3, which was scheduled to be released this year, will not be released this year, and may not ever be released.

That's right, you've waited 2 and a half years for a sequal which may either be delayed or cut entirely! Cool huh!? I love Valve! I guess they decided with the success of their multiplayer titles (Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2, etc.) they finally realized they should put more funding into those projects, to adress the fundamental flaws within those games that everyone ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about constantly! So now all those who ♥♥♥♥♥ that Valve doesn't put enough time into their multiplayer titles, can now ♥♥♥♥♥ they're cutting Half-Life !! =DDDD

Ohhh Valve. You're so silly<3

Rusty and Rob are the two most awesome people I know. This is a true statement. Ask no questions, simply accept it.

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday season, and thank you all for the good times you've provided me with over this past year. I hope for many more memories to come.
