It's not a bad game overall, for 1 dev it's very impressive. But I'm not sure whether the game is not optimized or SUPER demanding on gpu. I was streaming it on twitch and my obs crashed when it launched on mid/high settings not even epic. My hardware is nvidia 4070 super and intel i7-14700k so it shouldn't be that bad.

- perfect length for a short story game, feels finished and no questions left
- i didn't have any trouble figuring out what i should do, one puzzle was actually satisfying
- good graphics
- story was sad

- crashed my obs
- characters mimics, the mouth movement is def something
- The puzzle i liked was the only one LOL. its mostly walking and watching but it fits the story of the game
- you can see the object you need to interact with even through the walls so it makes it toooo easy

Pros:
- interesting story
- detailed environments

Cons:
- Have to have reticle directly above an item to pick it up, but reticle isn't available in cinematic mode
- Reticle disappears in regular, non-cinematic mode
- Mouth animations look very uncanny
- English voice acting is not the best
- Poorly optimized and drops frames in some areas, particularly around the river
- Very little ambiance or sounds from nature, can only hear main character's footsteps
- Can't interact with much of the environment at all

This is a basic story game, I bought it as I was interested in the story, and I loved the fact it was a solo developer who hadnt made games before and dedicated his life to creating this. There is a couple of puzzles it would have been nice to have a few more riddles and puzzles, you can complete this game in an hour or 2.
The game keeps you on track, it doesnt really let you explore out from the story, it could do some work on more interactions and more things to pickup than just limited story objects.
I have enjoyed this game, it is one you will finish and most likely not come back to.
Support the little man, get the game, give it a whirl, I'd be happy to follow this developer and get his next game which I imagine will be bigger and better :)
