I got the part where the lab blows up, and I was just so uninvested in the characters that I really didn't care what was going on, but I was forced to watch every single second of the cutscene. Holding B didn't do anything, escape/space/enter.. etc.. nothing.. just pointlessly slow progression when all I want to do is get in the boat and move ahead. It dragged on for so long that I gave up and hit alt-f4. Maybe I'll go back to this game one day, but not today....

I'm asking this question regardless of game length. THe game looks quite interesting to me but as an older gamer, I cannot spend long swaths of time at my PC, so I'd love it if there were manual save slots, rather than wide-apart-in-time checkpoint saves (as is the case w/ so many ported games now). At the very least, are there chapter replays, and does the game save-where-you-are upon quitting or escaping out to desktop? THanks for answers....

After leaving the church, i experienced a lot of stuttering followed by crash to desktop. My system: i7-12700k CPU, 64GB Ram, Nvidia 3080 ti, Windows 11 64 bit.
