Questionable Ethics Enhanced (Continued)
How much of this mod has been rendered obsolete by 1.4 & Biotech DLC?
I'm sure the mod still works basically the same once updated, but how much of this mod is now obsolete base game vs Biotech DLC? Eventually adding a list on the main page would probably be ideal, but I'll settle for just a post, here (which is why I made it a separate discussion, so it won't clutter up comments section).

The Biotech DLC does not add cloning nor any of the other features listed on the mod page. So I would say this mod is still incredibly useful and in no way obsolete as far as I can tell.

The Biotech Steam page description literally says " and even gestate embryos in machines." I haven't managed to play around with enough of the new DLC yet to determine if this included cloning or that the Biotech DLC still requires both a mommy and daddy to "make" an embryo in a test tube instead of parthenogenesis. Too busy trying to troubleshoot mods as they update. Like this one. Hence why I asked.

Edit: Spelling. stupid cheapo keyboard...

"gestate embryos in machines" That is not cloning that is an artificial womb. Yes, you will still need 2 parents to make the embryo (I checked.) So again there is no cloning in the DLC and as I said previously the DLC does not make this mod obsolete. They do different things.
Hmm, that just makes it more odd that the entire Biotech DLC design would just ignore cloning... though there are also other mods that basically achieve the same thing (like the Altered Carbon mod).

Personally, around 90% of the use I get from this mod is growing replacement limbs and organs. Even if the DLC had included cloning, I'd still be sad to lose my reliable source of spare arms, legs, lungs, and kidneys.

I love to get rare Animals from Corpses, and with the Brain Scan it saves precious time by skipping the training part.
