Report a translation problem
I haven't tested with the other races, but I suspect they're the same. Any idea what's wrong?
Easier path is to go into \starbound\storage\player\ and delete that character's .shipworld file. Sorting by date makes it easier to be sure you have the right character. Backing up first is never a terrible idea, but not strictly necessary,
REMOVE EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KEEP BEFORE DOING THIS
Why would I suggest such a crazy thing? Because after restarting Starbound and reloading your character, it will automatically generate a new ship(per your current modded ship design) and apply the upgrades sequentially before the character is even loaded.
