Currently seems bugged
@qzpmzz You have to find a planet with chocolate blocks.
But if you obtain say a few blocks of the soft sugar blocks, you can then grind each block say 3, into 30 bits of sugar.
Now the exploit is that it takes 2 sugar to make 5 blocks.
so to grind 1 block to get 10 sugar sorta is a net gain and makes sugarcane a useless food item to get.
So I would like to see this change cause of this exploitable bit.
Gotta say I'm very impressed from what I've seen so far.
I'm not sure when I will come back to working on it.
Any plans to work on it in the future?
And... why... do peanuts camouflage/turn me slightly invisible?
IRL I eat lots of peanut butter... does it have to be regular, unsalted peanuts to get the camouflage effect?
As a suggestion/idea: something you guys might find fun to throw into the system and play around with is a glycemic index system. So say, for ex: a baked potato with a GI of 85 will energize/satisfy nutritional need for the character quicker, a boiled potatot (GI: 50) will energize/give nutrients slower, but for a longer time.
I"m guessing it's this mod... there's apple trees (red and green), orange trees, nutmeg trees...
on a different note, I'm really liking this mod so far. The cooking system looks real interesting.
Though two points: one, I was a little surprised that cooked ingredients don't satisfy more hunger. Ex: raw corn vs baked corn. Or a better example, a raw potato vs a baked potato. The point being that when you cook food it does some of the breaking down of nutrition that your body doesn't have to. Hence, it will generally provide more nutrition (and sometimes more types of nutrition, sometimes less. Look into cooked carrots vs raw), and cost your body less energy to break it down. So all in all, it will be a net gain, and would make more sense in SB for simple foods like baked corn or potatoes to satisfy more hunger points. Ex: raw potato 10points, baked 20points.
Hard to know if some food is worth crafting or not
