It's just a texture pack IIRC. It should still work.
Hopefully this will be updated one day.
Do that, and you will NEVER be notified again about version warning on this mod. It will only be replaced when the mod author update it, which I don't believe it will happen anyways, so that will probably be a perm fix for everybody, even tho you have to do it manually.
This mod is not likely to ever break from a rimworld update. It just swaps out some textures.
The majority of the work is done by my mod, World Map Beautification Project, which this mod depends on, and which is also unlikely to ever break from a rimworld update, since it uses 99% it's own code and does not rely on very much vanilla code.
But after trying it for a while, i feel its a bit too dark, and some biomes are colored a bit oddly.
For example the volcano biomes from Advanced Biomes are pink... The reason they are Pink in for example World Map Beautification project is just to have some distinction of them from the black wasteland biomes. But if you're texturing them, might as well have them dark grey but red/orange magma rivers, than pink.
Also the Savannah from the same mod is strangely textured brown, when one would expect it to be more yellowish (as it is without this mod).
I absolutely love this mod but just found some of the choices a bit mismatching compared to "vanilla" (speaking vanilla in terms of the mods they affect, lol)
Also just to pre-jack future compatability questions, will you make this compatible with Tiberiumrim when it gets a 1.4 update (if they add world map biomes that is)?
Also, i asked this in the WMBP page too, is it ever possible to add sort of blended transitions between biome tiles, or is that just not possible?

If I may make an attempt a constuctive criticism: The transitions between vanilla biomes look beautiful and natural with your mod, but the biomes form More Vanilla Biomes enhanced are somewhat problematic.
In particular the coloring messes things up. Grassland with it's dirty greyish-brown looks like it's more barren and inhospitable than desert, which looks strange when you have a stretch of grassland sandwiched between desert and temperate forest. Cloud Forest and Alpine Meadow also seem to have a bit too much contrast to the surrounding tiles.
Could it be possible when you have time to also add MorrowRim - Ashlands Swamp (one biome)?
I do not know how I miss this one when i listed the other two morrowRim additional biome mods.
<3
Those are two additional mod (which each add a single biome) to the main MorrowRim mod (this one has a compatibility patch).
Is it something you may patch in the future :D ?
WME uses textures for "realistic planets' only when standalone permafrost is disabled.
Why having both?
Standalone version includes unique water freezing mechanic
Could you handle it, please?
