Even after research, is there a reason why it is impossible to mass-produce honey wine? Or is there a conflict with my mod?

Its not a prerequisite. Its totally optional and there is no way to have that as a recommended mod when you grab it.

Got most of them at this point: other than the core mod and this one, i've got Medicine, Xtra Trees and Flowers, Gourmet, Fabrics, More Veggies, Three Sisters, and Canning.

I assume it's Gourmet causing the conflict if anything; I can make choco milk and fruit juice in the brewing station, but not the new precursors

Which of my mods are you using? Different recipes appear when load other garden mods.

Seems to be having trouble loading the recipes at the brewing table. I'm sure this is either something I've done wrong or a mod conflict (I have a lot of them on this save) but I'm only getting other VGP drinks; no brewing precursors besides beer wort.

Agave just grows on some maps. You would need another mod to grow it on your farm. Like my Garden mod allows it. A few others as well.

category for some alcohol is inconsistent:

Kumis : Drugs / Manufactured & Garden Alcohol / Drugs / Manufactured
Brown Ale: Drugs / Manufactured

There are some mods that restrict Storage Categories to just Garden Alcohol, so this should be edited.

Yes it works in a new game.

But it does not seem to be working in older save games.
Took hours to find this out. And i am not sure why.

-Brewing Job Patches for Biotech and More Mechanitor Mechs 2.0
Fabricor and Gastromech now do Brewing work.


Above may need a new save to take affect.

@dismarzero i think it would be easier if you change everything to mechs bec the MISC bots mimic mechanoid behaviour, since biotech came out!:P

but i'll use the vanilla fabricor, the "Gastromech" from
"More Mechanitor Mechs 2.0" and the vanilla Lifter for hauling the Wort!:P

It is a different work type. I just have to look into their coding and see what they are set to do.

installed this mod, ans suddenly Meches don't brew anymore (activated it in the XML), and even stopped hauling the beer wort to the Barrels!

i looked into the files, it seems this mod excludes Mechanoids from the whole beer processing!:/

after removing the mod frome my savegame, the mechs started brewing again!:P
is there a possibility to patch the mod to include Mechs?:P

i REALLY want to play the mod again, but Mech Brewing is an integral part of my game!:/

Thanks for looking into it. Furthermore, while I can't seem to find the recipe for it, grape soda still shows up in the stockpile options, so while I can store grape soda away in the freezer, I can't make the soda with the soda table as the recipe does not appear.

I think FSF changed the worktype from Brewing to Production to be more "generic". Said it was too specific for the amount of mods coming out. At least that is what i gathered from their response. Not really a modder myself.

Hoped that would also remove the other error that is caused by the cross reference to the FSF complex jobs mod. Quite possible that the patch you added to your mod for that in the past may even not be needed anymore at all.

OK, confirmed with Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Memes and Structures author, it requires a patch for VGP drinks to work, same thing for sweets.

Oh yeah i actually do. I think i read a comment on FSF complex jobs, that he removed the brewing work part, and renamed it to production. As the brewing one would be too limiting.

Weird that i did not make the connection till you mentioned it... you read the information, but it does not register in the right way.

Scarlet : I am still looking into this issue. I see that Wines/Alcohols are coded as a base drugs. And from what I see so far ambrosia wine is not coded and I will have to test that.

Not sure about other vgp wines/alcohols, as my pawns had gone crazy and cannot proceed further. I assume at least some of vgp wines were not treated as alcohols in ideology, even if they provided the alcohol warmth buff.

found a new issue, drinking vgp wines (kumis,berry wine, ambrosia wine) does not satisfy party life ideology requirement.

Never mind, I found the issue, the process framework has not been updated to 1.5, which is why all alcohols are missing.
