I hope you meant the accessibility of skills because I made them be unlocked the same way they are unlocked by your main character. If your character has unlocked spider mines, your brother-in-arms companion will have access to that skill too. You can reallocate their skill points as much as you want, there's no limit. I can't make it more convenient than that...you should set your mind in thinking that you have a second character in the game and not think of them as your usual pet, this will help you appreciate the intricacies I have done to this mod. I'm sorry you felt that the knocked-out penalty is a bit too much, like I said earlier, your BIA companion is your second character, you need to take care of them properly. And about the "bug", can you send me a screenshot?

I tried messing up with load order but didn't really seem to help, also installed warbonds and same issue. But no worries, i just ended up maxing out skills i use to not feel as cheaty :p
Anyway i love the mod and thank you for your hard work ^_^

@Azelix IIRC, I don't think your can directly affect your BIA's summons, it has its own stats and buffs to affect its own summons.

@Skillo Unfortunately I cannot troubleshoot this for you but I'm sure the issue has nothing to do with the embermage's skill because it is the same codes/scripts with your character's skill....maybe it has something to do with your mod load order?

My pet's skills (embermage in this case) seem to be maxed out by putting a single point into them, it also includes all three tiers from level 5 10 and 15. I'm sure of it since pillars are being casted as if it has the bonus amount and buffs offer the extra effects aswell. Any idea of why this is happening?

Hi! I have a fashion question: can a "brother-in-Arms" be a full-fledged summoner? for example: to receive a bonus to pet damage from things put on it? if he can't, then will his pets get the above bonus to damage from the things I'm wearing? P.S: The mod is amazing! It's a pity that I missed it when I was looking for a good pet-enhancing mod.

i have combine ur BIA & BIA:WB and TL1CP class as a modpack and add tl1cp three class as startpet BIA to replace musha , just for my personal play, can i have ur permission to upload it in steam ?

It cannot be done with your main pet alone. Due to game's hardcoded character indexing, entry 0 is always your player then entry 1 is always your main pet. Succeeding indexes are alotted for your summons and enemies/monsters (whoever gets read first by the game). To make more pet, the only way is by summonning permanent pet/s but you have to make the game target or recognize their specific character index. So that its pet hud and inventory menu will be allowed to coexist with your main pet's hud and inventory. My BiA Warbounds mod, is the example of this. Working around with character indexing but I chose not to add third and fourth party member due to integrating UI in the game gets buggy and affects the game cache that is not meant to cater additional customizable and equippable pet.

If you meant online party/multiplay, then I cannot really tell ypu for sure, I think it is plausible but I may not be a smooth experience. You need to try this yourself and if it is workable please let me know.

No it is not incompatible because my mod is a pet mod while additional classes is a class mod.

But, sometimes my mod can cause a crash if a class mod have modified certain stat data. It will be tricky because Additional Classes have not been updated to the latest Synergies' classes.

OPTION 1: Mod load order should be like this :
UI+ESOBC << Top
Brother-in-Arms
Brother-in-Arms: Warbounds
Addon TO Additional Classes
SynergiesMOD
Additional Classes << Bottom

OPTION 2: If the game crashes, try this load order:
UI+ESOBC << Top
Addon TO Additional Classes
Brother-in-Arms
Brother-in-Arms: Warbounds
SynergiesMOD
Additional Classes << Bottom

OPTION 3: If no Synergies mod:
UI+ESOBC << Top
Addon TO Additional Classes

Yes it is possible but I didn't design this mod for Synergies' difficulty. It is all up to what equipment you assign with your human companion, to be able to survive in there.

With my two Brother-in-Arms mod, you will get up to 4 human companion. Although only 2 companion can be customized.

You can transmute potions.

Katana/Enhance Katana don't have skills but have great stats.

Mushato types Katana/Nodachi have skills and gem slots.

Sorry for giving your hopes up with Musha companion, I won't be able to finish these companions to their full skill tree. Making skills are the most difficult part in TL2 modding based on my experience.

No good, regardless of load-order, while the mod works fine, Armor and the like NEVER shows up, regardless of what slots are used. Bummer!

I'm gonna give this load order a shot, but it's likely I'll still encounter the 'unable to see armor' bug on my companions for Warbound. I'll let you know, and I'll flash you a mod list if you think you can help.

I'm sorry to hear that but this mod have been fully tested and every issue were already been discussed and pointed out.

If there's an issue occurring, please check back to these 3:

NUMBER 1: This mod will bind your saved game, unless you use Mod Unbinder with my mod or before you remove my mod.

NUMBER 2: Equipment Comparison will not function properly anymore, best to disable it.

NUMBER 3: Some of the major mods out there are incompatible with mine because of the modification done with the Pet Inventory but you can always try putting my mod above theirs in the game launcher's mod order.

and as they are captured from the NPC models, they do not have the visual/cosmetic appearance that you usually get from armors.

Hmm, this and Warbound seem to be broken in terms of 'cosmetics' and items appearing on them. Any idea why? Doesn't seem to matter what load order I use.

I think adding slots and enhancements are safe to do with these shields.

I'm not aware that the unbreakable state gets removed if it got upgraded...

I can't do anything about it. Your human allies are now considered as monster types and like your enemies, their equipped shield has a break point on which with enough force absorbed will deplete its durability/health points. If you really like to focus your ally into a shield wielder, I suggest you only let them use the (unbreakable) shield provided at Sia's store.

So... my Allies shield keeps shattering pretty quickly in combat. Is there a way to disable that for my 'brothers'?

Yeah, this type of cases are a nuisance but the only way to make your warbound be in the playstyle you want is by trial and error, mix and match those skill-tags until you're contented. And if your combination got tiring, then you try to mix and match again...

There will not be a detailed guide regarding this coming from me because I have not fully played these mods in the extent of testing every skill available of every class, especially to know which combination of skills are better than the rest.

The reason why your berserker warbound is spamming the healing dash skill is because he does not have any other way of attacking. And btw, on higher levels, your warbound's mana consumption won't be noticeable by then.

Btw is there a guide or something about the warbound ally and normal character pet ? I see my pet berserker kept spaming his dash healing skill every time he had mana and that the warhound ally has cooldown on the skills.

Ah my bad about Brink. I was expecting the characters other then the 4 vanilla ones to always show same weapon ragardless of the weapons that are equiped.

Hey there's a bug with some of the warbound characters like Brink for example. It shows nothing in both his hand, also the the pet/warbound image gets messed up and they look like they are stuck togheter the first time you open their panel. That solves after you close and reopen them using the keyboard buttons.

The engineer's healing bot skills isn't level up properly. Once the skill is activated, it will cast Tier 3 healing bot; means: that the bot would have all the properties & advantage from Tier 3 even though it was just got activated.
