Does this mod act like a Quay or such? Or what would recommend. Wanting a mod that acts like a wall you might see along the side of road with steep cliff.

@MjolnirRecon Dude has a valid point. I would like to have shorter versions from 5m, 1,5m and 2m for floating structures, especially for the part above tunnel entrances. That way I could make seamless transitions with this wall. So, yes please! ^^

I love these walls, using them extensively in my current city. I'm trying to make a smaller ~2m tall version to use as an edge for custom tunnel entrances and the like, but I can't get the model to display in the editor. When I try to import the new mesh the segment just disappears. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I think it would be good if you link this one at the prop version, it took me way to long to find this, becasue i just assumed that if you made a network version of this it would be linked xD

Back to CSL and I see very nice asset, we don't need anymore prop I guess with this :)
is there a possibility to lean the wall in order to apply it on a 45° surface for instance ? like the terrain that goes down from an elevated road. thx

These are nice but it's impossible to Terraform the ground around them so they actually look like functioning retaining walls. In turn making these useless for my needs.

@Lost Gecko I have used this *SO VERY MUCH* in my current city build. Is there any chance of a 2m tall version of this? I'd like to use it floated above the terrain to match this wall. I'm trying to recreate something that resembles a pedestrian bridge/park in Vancouver Washington.

@techstepman hard to know like that but make sure you are selecting nodes and not the middle of segments. Those don't change in elevation, only nodes do.

I keep getting "height too high" when I elevate the wall and try to connect it with a new segment.

@genosse.stanil I suspect this has to do with the shadow graphic settings: the shadows on the right against the wall also have an interval. Iooking from a closer distance and with lower shadow distance should fix it. Also I highly suggest you subscribe to and enable Network Tiling for the textures to display correctly. :)

I seem to have an issue though: the wall seems to "float" above the terrain – at least when looking from the shadow side.

Maybe an issue with the macOS version of the game?

Alright so I couldn't find this anywhere for the longest time, if anyone else can't find it you might be mistaking the water structures tab for the water, sewage and heating tab! In other words, you have to have unlocked landscaping to access it.

@MSG @thekingdomcoming such thin quays don't work with the terrain clipping of the game terraforming. You need a minimum of at least 5/6m quay thickness for it to work...

I've been playing with Move It! to try and get a straighter wall but the hills and valleys just go up and down. The ground is flat. I'm code-ignorant, but is there a way to add a constraint key? Hold down X key to force a flat-topped wall?

@Ricebug My guess is that it uses the terrain height info of the ground rather than the flat train tracks. I think that's normal behaviour, use Move It to straighten it. So it appears you found the wall in the menu? :)

This shows up in the Content Manager but not in the Assets Panel in the game itself. I checked every tab, to no avail.

@maxsodance No, as it is a retaining wall and not a sound barrier. Surely if it had that poperty I would have mentioned it :) But don't even think it's possible as a mechanic since highways with sound barriers are simply highways with lower sound parameters: nothing is really blocking the sound. Same for roads with trees: it's not the trees blocking the sound, ust the road having lower sound values.
