Felix's Fancy Potions

• This mod aims to add potions that have a classic action rpg feel to them.
• Recovery potions have a short cooldown timer, and the player can only have
one buff potion active at a time.
• This mod has a lot of configuration options. So users can tinker with settings
to cater to their desired level of balance, or lack thereof.

• Every potion can be disabled.
• Every potion has an effectiveness modifier.
For example. Healing potions recovery value can be changed. Or the speed
potions effect can be lowered or raised.
• How many potions a single craft makes.
The default value is 3.
• The cooldown period between drinking recovery potions.
All 3 recovery potions share the same cooldown. The default value is 20 seconds.
• The duration/cooldown of buff potions.
The cooldown period for buff potions is a global value, and since only one
buff potion can be active at a time. The cooldown is equal to the duration.
The default value is 60 seconds.
• Opt in/enable the ability for bosses to drop health and rarely buff potions.
Even if a potion is disabled, this feature will allow certain potions to drop.
The disable feature only disables their crafting option.

• Potions must be crafted at the newly added potion cauldron.
• Cauldron is crafted in the science tab. An alchemy engine is required
to prototype.
• Potions can not be prototyped. You must visit a cauldron to craft them
no matter what.
• Hunger potion is the only potion that spoils. This is not a bug.
• Potion icons turn grey and display a red 🚫 over them when they're
on cooldown.
• Buff potions (excluding speed potion) apply a periodic particle effect on
the player. This is so in pvp situations a player is able to see if their
opponent has a potion buff effect on them. An "attuned" animation will play
when the buff period ends. This animation does have an audio cue as well
so it's easy to tell when a buff ends.
• The † symbol indicates this value can be changed in configuration options.

Item Effect: Allow's you to craft potions
Item Recipe: Cut Stone x5 - Log x3 - Frog Legs x2



Potion name: Health Potion
Potion Effect: Recovers 20† Health.
Potion Recipe: Butterfly Wings x3 - Spider Gland x1 - Red Mushroom x1 = 3† potions per craft.



Potion name: Hunger Potion
Potion Effect: Recovers 15† Hunger.
Potion Recipe: Seeds x3 - Small Meat x1 - Carrot x1 = 3† potions per craft.



Potion name: Sanity Potion
Potion Effect: Recovers 15† Sanity. Drains 3 hunger.
Potion Recipe: Flower Petals x3 - Cut Reeds x1 - Blue Mushroom x1 = 3† potions per craft.



Potion name: Insanity Potion
Potion Effect: Drains 50† sanity.
Potion Recipe: Dark Petals x3 - Cut Reeds x1 - Green Mushroom x1 = 3† potions per craft.



Potion name: Fire Potion
Potion Effect: Raises temperature for 40† seconds. For 60† seconds, enemies that hit you have a 20% hance to catch on fire.*
Potion Recipe: Ash x3 - Silk x1 - Red Gem x1 = 3† potions per craft.



Potion name: Ice Potion
Potion Effect: Lowers temperature for 40† seconds. For 60† seconds, enemies that hit you have a 20% chance to become frozen.*
Potion Recipe: Ice x3 - Nitre x1 - Blue Gem x1 = 3† potions per craft.



Potion name: Light Potion
Potion Effect: For 60† seconds, you radiate light in a 3† unit radius.
Potion Recipe: Light Bulb x3 - Electrical Doodad x1 - Bone Shard x1 = 3† potions per craft.



Potion name: Speed Potion
Potion Effect: For 60† seconds, increase your movespeed by 20†%.
Potion Recipe: Moon Rock x3 - Fireflies x1 - Jet Feather x1 = 3† potions per craft.



Potion name: Power Potion
Potion Effect: For 60† seconds, increase your damage by 10†%.
Potion Recipe: Hound Tooth x3 - Tentacle Spots x1 - Purple Gem x1 = 3† potions per craft.



Potion name: Armor Potion
Potion Effect: For 60† seconds, you take 10†% less damage.
Potion Recipe: Cut Stone x3 - Pig Skin x1 - Gold Nugget x1 = 3† potions per craft.



Potion name: Electric Potion
Potion Effect: For 60† seconds, enemies that hit you have a 50% chance to get hurt for 5† damage. This damage is tripled against wet targets. (This potion can overcharge WX-78)†
Potion Recipe: Stinger x3 - Saffron Feather x1 - Flint x1 = 3† potions per craft.



Potion name: Mysterious Potion
Potion Effect: 41 different effects. Chosen at random on drinking. Use at your own risk.
Potion Recipe: Monster Meat x3 - Wet Goop x1 - Rot x1 = 3† potions per craft.

*This effect does not work on bosses.
