Phoneme Tool

Phoneme tool is like faceposer, except instead of face flexes, you use phonemes. Phonemes are presets for face flexes that represent a certain emotion or a spoken "letter" for the character.

By default, the tool only works on TF2 HWM ragdolls. The phonemes have been extracted from Source Filmmaker by using a python script. If you wish to get phonemes for other models, you need to extract them through Source Filmmaker using this script (found on github repo, link below), and then move the generated txt file to garrysmod/data/phonemetool.

Since most phonemes affect all face flexes of the ragdoll, it can be difficult to use emotions while lipsyncing. For that purpose, the tool includes "Ignored flexes" menu which you can check face flexes that should not be manipulated. This way you can ignore flexes for eyes , eyebrows and such while manipulating the mouth to lipsync.
