Hello, today i would like to introduce my mod for tweaking resources. Majority of the mod is basically incrementing access count upon resource deposits.

Luxury deposits are splitted into 3 categories, with their deposit spawn access ranges in the brackets:

  • Plentiful (3-5)
    • Money
      • Icense
      • Porcelain
      • Gold
    • Food
      • Salt
      • Sage
      • Tea
    • Science
      • Ambergris
      • Papyrus
      • Mercury
    • Production
      • Dye
      • Ebony
      • Obsidian
  • Rare (2-3)
    • Money
      • Pearl
    • Food
      • Coffee
    • Science
      • Lead
    • Production
      • Marble
  • Exclusive (1-1)
    • Money
      • Gemstone
    • Food
      • Saffron
    • Science
      • Silver
    • Production
      • Silk


I also wanted to make luxury access upgradable just like strategic via certain buildings.

The idea is to make the biggest buildings of it's category for every era to raise their access a little.

Every era, has some major building for Food, Industry, Science and Money, those buildings now increase Luxury Deposit Accesses count.

That way it feels more progressive and generic, as people coming with new techniques of gathering them.

I also buffed Exclusive's bonus so they really feel like the gems. Especially in the late game once you manage to get manufactory upon them.


During Classical, Medieval, Early Modern and Industrial Era you will be able to construct buildings to increase all accesses as follows:

  • Plentiful +4
  • Rare +3
  • Exclusive +2

So even with all upgrades Exclusive depostis will have maximum of 3 copies per deposit.
