Description
A balance mod that tries not be an overhaul mod while making the game harder

Here are some of the highlights so far:
-mostly nerf adjustments to buildings and laws so that they are more similar in power level
-buffs to issues like disease and squalor to be more punishing
-tension has been increased and added to many laws and abilities
-frostland stockpiles and outpost sizes have been reduced

Affects both story mode and utopia, but is tested in story mode
Version0.1 may not work, just wanted to upload to test
More changes to come

If you are fine with my merit law changes and want to try for some compatibility, you should remove any changes to base laws and their consequences events. I think it would be cool.

Political Overhaul Mod changes the balance of some of the merit laws, should I remove that to allow compatibility?

Great to hear that it is working for others. Ya in the base game it is pretty easy to ignore disease and squalor, hopefully my mod can change that.

Work's like a Charm bud. Always thought it was odd that squalor and disease were so inconsequential.
