Objectively? Yes. He gets access to more units and can upgrade more units than in vanilla (and for cheaper in the case of daemons). 3 gifts of chaos were directly buffed, and the 4th was a side-grade/slight nerf.
Honestly? He’s essentially the same. Nothing added does anything game-breaking nor anything that the vanilla roster couldn’t do in some way.
The effect of Belakors unique technologies that allows upgrading daemon inf. into exalted variants has been moved to the corresponding branding iron techs and expanded to include all daemon warband upgrades shown above. 4 gifts of chaos have had units added or replaced. Mortal warband upgrading has been adjusted for some units.
I wish there was a way to influence the AI on how to use the Warband more efficiently (and more often)
Too often do I see the AI with rank 9 basic chaos warriors and refusing to make Chosens out of them. Even with personal tweaks to make warband upgrades free *shrug*
