Dynamic Difficulty

Description
Allows enemies to "level up" with you, loot is also leveled.
You can adjust your difficulty to your desired experience.
This mod was designed to be used with mods that alter mission levels withput having to uninstall them when starting a new playthrough.

Details
  • Compatible with any other difficulty mods.
  • Creates a "level" for your character based on worn items.
  • Reduces and increases damage for enemies to match your level.
  • Still allows for enemies to be higher or lower than you depending of configuration.
  • This is dynamic and independent, so different players can have different settings and will not affect each other.
  • Loot level is at most +0.5 above your current level.
  • Chest loot is leveled to the player the first got to it.
  • Reward bags are also leveled.
  • The mod and chest leveling can be enabled or disabled.

Any enemy that doesn't support this mod, will work as normal, this may mean that they'll feel stronger or weaker than desired.

Available Options:
  • Enabled: Enables or disables the mod.
  • Tier: Your level and (Enemy Level).
  • Tier Above: Enemy level will not exceed your level by more than this amount.
  • Tier Below: Enemy level will not go below this level.
  • Modifiy Tier: Enemy level will be adjusted by this amount, not going beyond the set limits.
  • Chest Loot Leveling: Enables or disables leveling the contents of chests.

Notes:
There are indeed ways to level up your items free with this mod, I've taken measures to limit this options, but it's possible.
This mod is based on a few Witcher 3 mods, like "Items Levels Normalized" and "Enemy Scaling Overhaul".
"Stardust Core" is for the quickbar button, the mod can still work but the interface will not be accessible.
This mod doesn't modify any character stat, instead, it multiplies the damage received by a value that will match desired difficulty setting.
Sometimes it duplicates dropped loot, I can't do much about it.

Uninstalling
Can be freely uninstalled.

What does "Modify enemy tier by" end up doing? It feels like I am still obliterating monsters and npcs.

does this also affect npcs? I dont want my npcs to get outleveled by the monsters

Great mod, with which you can create a real hell in the galaxy! But please fix the fall damage on high tiers:SBpenguin::SBmm:

DO NOT FALL AT HIGH TIERS! this mod modifies fall damage, that shouldn't happen.

@FelmastProMcLane limit the item max level relate to the planet level should be fine

@Kukagres: Hopefully,I do need to upload a couple fixes but should be fine.

@ErickD: Oh, those measures are to avoid "Free" level ups of items you already own, though, I'm considering limiting the maximal level-up to around +0.5 of player level.
(For progression's sake and avoid the behavior of changing the offset right before looting to get high tier items)

Sure, though, what do you mean by "balance the gear leveling up"?
It tries to level the items to the selected difficulty (you can set it to tier 8 and it will be tier 8)
