GUIDE TO CUSTOM TILES
if you want a better explanation then just go to any other custom tileset prison OR ask this guy on discord, his friend thing is meinaimsuckt, he'll help you out in a jiffy

step 1: get yo tiles from this link:

im pretty sure my full real name is on here but i kind of dont give a doodoo ok.

step 2: download dem tiles, you should see the music folder and shi and like the data thing all that fun stuff, download allat, i promise its not 38193.1 zottabytes of yiff... that was the other thing so dont worry.

step 3: go to escapists on steam and hit the little cog dude, and then hit browse local files.(if you cant do this you are there is no hope for you)

step 4: delete the folder called 'music' and replace it with the similarly titled folder named 'music' that is in the google drive thing. dont get them mixed up now!

step 5: crack open the folder called 'data' and delete the file named 'data_eng' (its at the top of the list so you cant miss it) and once hes ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off then drag in the file you got from my drive thing that is ALSO called 'data_eng'

step 6: grab the file called 'speech_chilly' and drag it into that same list of files. once in game, you gotta remember to open settings on the title screen and type that into the custom speech thing or else it aint gonna work

step 7: open the folder called 'images' and once you're in there click on the folder named 'custom'. once in there allocate those long ass picture thingies at the bottom and delete the one called 'tiles_cus_shanktonstatepen'. once youve done that then drag in the one from the drive you know how this works by now.

after that you should be set just go in and play but chances are since steam is lame and broken and this game is ancient the map might not load into the list, if that happens just go ahead and grab the cmap file, aptly named THE ICE CHEST, from the google drive, and go to documents> uhhhh escapists i think> and then like custom prisons. just put it in there youll be fine
note: subscribed version is slightly harder than version in google drive

if you're done playing and you want this all gone just verify integrity of game files and poof

known bugs:
pretty much anything i test played this prison for five minutes and somehow found more than one bug in that time
