Description
Multi-floors. My "spiritual successor" to the old Z-Level mod.

Work-In-Progress Warning
This version is for testing purposes. Features are still under development.
Changes may happen frequently. Don't use it in your long run.
Updated: I believe it is fairly stable now. There may be a few minor glitches though.

Current features:
  • Build above ground and underground
  • Simple cross-level pathfinding through stairs
  • Raiders can use stairs
  • Top view renderer on upper levels
  • Food, rest, joy works with level schedule
  • Pawn will do works automatically across levels
  • Hauling are done with transfer settings and policy at stairs
  • Place blueprints at other levels
  • Haul to construct across levels
  • Heat, power, gas synchronized through stairs
  • Weather, outdoor temperature synchronized to upper levels
  • Game conditions synchronized between levels
  • CompAssignable can recognize pawns at different levels
  • Sell to trader at the ground map
  • Bestowing ceremony can take place on other levels
  • Pawns will fix broken-down building across levels
  • Mechs can go to other levels for charging
  • Level switching hotkeys N and M
  • Work with Dub's Bad Hygiene, and perhaps Hospitality


Limitations:
Due to considerations of performance and compatibility.
  • No cross-level combat.
  • Bills still assume the same map.
  • Pawns won't haul things to other levels automatically.
  • Float menu won't recognize other levels.

Guide:
I wrote a guide in pinned post to illustrate current features in this mod (with screenshots).
Anything not in the feature list is not implemented yet.

If you want to help with the development, wildly try it and leave your feedback.
If you encounter any issues. please provide a full error log in the pinned post.
I have a hard time implementing it and no more time to test.
If you're an artist and interested in contributing to the textures, your help would mean a lot to this mod.

Do you consider to set up a Ko-fi page?

I see that you need some arts, may be you can try to commission it on RimMarket server if someone make some donations on Ko-fi.

Alternatively I would suggest to try on the Rimworld Arts discord server or something that. There is a discord server with all the rimworld artists where they show their arts. I don't remember the name now, may be you can ask on RW official server.

I have a problem with another mod that is from Misc. Robots and the problem is that when I set the policy so that the drones can enter and exit at will, the entire game crashes, what can I do?

My colonists keep wandering upper stories instead of going downstairs to eat or do work, despite there is plenty of food on ground level and that's where they have assigned for diet.

I was thinking that you can't read chinese by now. The localization of your mod page is quite good. Anyway I just want to share you an idea. Maybe you can set recipes for stairs which can maintain or modify the transportation of stuffs to layers connected to stairs.
For example, we set an 500 limited task for gold in stairs, then pops can transport those gold to the layer. Maybe a scan of numbers of stuffs is needed to work better. then we can do a lot of things in added layers. I found the stock function works well in different layers along, so if you can fix the transportation problem, that will be fascinating.:steamhappy:

Will you make this work with multi-colonies? When I tried it before everyone just started wandering about empty headed.
