“What is a man, A miserable little pile of secrets” - Vlad Țepeș Dracula



Vlad Țepeș Dracula, more commonly refered to as Dracula, is the Dark Lord and serves as the final boss of almost every Castlevania game there is. Formerly known as Mathias Cronquist, he has abandoned all his humanity to become the singular antithesis of God, an immortal being and a vessel for Chaos.

Dracula pulls his moves from all sorts of games he's been featured in, ranging from his signature hellish fireballs and orbs of darkness, to his over-the-top, vampiric normals.

In the Castlevania games, DRACULA is usually immune to attacks on his body, only being vulnerable to attacks on his head, and it works the same here. DRACULA has soft armor in his body when he’s grounded; this armor is able to tank weaker hits, but more powerful blows will break through its threshold, especially at higher percentages. You can easily knock him around instead by hitting him directly on the head or when he’s airborne, so make your strikes count!


Neutral SPECIAL (tap) - Hellfire
DRACULA raises his cape and shoots 3 fireballs forward, with the top and bottom ones moving diagonally. This is a great attack to zone out your opponents, being able to control quite a big portion of the battlefield.

Neutral SPECIAL (hold) - Dark Inferno
Holding the special button down the whole time, DRACULA can instead use “Dark Inferno”! Flapping his cape behind him, DRACULA creates a huge ball of magma that slowly travels forward, causing continuous damage and knockback to anyone unlucky enough to get caught in this attack.

Forward SPECIAL - Soul Steal
DRACULA dashes forward trying to grab his victim, before raising them and sucking their essence, thus healing him a bit. Pressing special button again, you can cancel your initial dash with a teleport! Just hold or tap the Special button during the dash and DRACULA will disappear into mist, where you can then aim around and pick where and at which direction DRACULA will reappear! This is great for catching his opponents off-guard!
In the air, this attack goes diagonally down, so please keep that in mind when performing this attack off-stage!

Up SPECIAL - Teleport
DRACULA vanishes and appears somewhere else on the stage, even being able to teleport to and from other platforms! This is a fast way to move about and keep your opponents on their toes! Much like in his boss fights, you can also choose to reappear from your teleport straight into his Hellfire or Dark Inferno attacks, by simply tapping or holding Special after the teleport.
As for the aerial version, this is more of an emergency option for DRACULA . This teleport not only doesn’t travel as far, but it also leaves DRACULA completely open for potential punishment.

Down SPECIAL - Flame Pillar
Similar to how he attacks in Castlevania 3: Dracula’s Curse, as well as his appearance in Dead By Daylight, DRACULA ignites his hand and summons a magnificent flame pillar at its position! DRACULA is used to manipulating people, like puppets - but here he can also manipulate where the pillar rises by simply pressing the dodge button to store its position, and activate the move again later while holding special to let it travel along the ground once more!
In the air, DRACULA simply raises a pillar in front of his position, or activates a previously set pillar.


Forward STRONG - Destructive Flare
DRACULA gathers his power and then shoots a laser beam that travels along the ground, causing powerful flames to emerge, burning anything in its path into a crisp! If you use it while standing on a platform, you can even extend its range further! Try to hit your opponents with the laser stunning hitbox to then combo into the flames.

Up STRONG - Fatal Ray
DRACULA snaps his fingers and sends a ray of light straight into the air, which then brings forth various small yet deadly projectiles to rain down onto any unlucky victim. This attack can both snipe opponents off the top, as well as cause a huge amount of damage for those caught beneath its blasts.

Down STRONG - Demonic Megiddo
DRACULA raises his hand into the air, gathering as much power as possible before he finally lets loose and unleashes this tremendous power into a gigantic multhitting orb that destroys anything it comes into contact with.
