Requires infinite fuel enabled to function.

(Upgraded/New) Features:
Powerfull turboprop engines with advanced controls and afterburner.
Fully destructible aircraft
Crash physics
Stall physics
10 Self-crashing options, some being able to challenge you to land the aircraft while it's broken
Easy to land with the Air Brakes feature
Larger amount of windows and exits
Parking brakes with grounding magnets to prevent the plane from moving when on the ground

Welcome onboard the Comedian MK II! Our current date is somewhere in 1952, Lucky Airlines has upgraded their aircraft to something that will be able to get you to many more destinations way quicker and easier! Our Turbo aircraft will give you a greater experience than the previous boy, the original MK II. But be aware, upgrades always come with flaws...

Tutorials:

Startup; turn on all lights, unlock the "engine" button with the "unlock" key and click it. Parking brakes can be disabled from the overhead panel. It is recommended to have the gyro on at all times, unless you want to die.

Taxi; When the engines are started and parking brakes disabled, pull throttle to 0.60, propeller collective to -0.95 and thrust spoilers to 1. This will keep your aircraft at a nice taxi speed of around 10 knots.

Runway Takeoff; When at the runway, pull propeller collective to 1 and thrust spoilers to 0. Your aircraft, incase the rps is high, will launch off into the air at a speed unimaginable!

Hangar Takeoff; Do the startup procedure, disable parking brakes, make sure throttle is at 0.60, propeller collective at -1 and thrust spoilers at 1, and after activating the engines wait till they reach a RPS value of around 20 or higher. Once you are happy, sit in the captain seat, pull the propeller collective to 1 and thrust spoilers to 0 and you'll launch off.

Cruising; Throttle to 0.45, the plane might be shaking after takeoff but at 0.45% throttle this shaking should stop.

Landing; While aligning to the runway, throttle to 0.40. The air brakes can be used to lower the lift of your aircraft, the value of the brakes depend on how far and how high you are compared to the runway. If you succesfully manage to touchdown, you can cut the throttle to 0 and use the landing brakes to pull the aircraft to a slow and safe stop.

Self crashing; at the cabinet-thingy near the door that leads into the galley, there is a key button located behind a light grey part in the cabinet. Clicking it will open the self-crashing functions. Here's a list of them:

Engine 1 to 4 failure (unrecoverable if engine 2 or 3 are clicked, since that will destroy the wings)
Horizontal stabilsor failure (recoverable)
Explosive decompression (Recoverable if you take action extremely fast)
Left/Right wing structural failure (unrecoverable)

In the galley there's a key named "oven" if you turn this the oven will activate, but if the key is left on for over a minute a cabin fire can start behind the self-crashing panel. This fire will eventually rip the tail off, but with the right actions you can land the plane safely before that happens.

In the flight engineer's panel there's a key button named "No." enabling this unlocks a button on the panel named "Don't." clicking this will result in a explosion ripping the cockpit and left wing off.

Thanks to RSU for making the original plane and allowing me to costumize it! His plane: https://steamoss.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3165451495&searchtext=Comedian
RSU did NOT contribute to the upgrades in this plane. He made the original version wich is linked above.

Lore:
After the succesfull launch of the Comedian MK II in 1949, the passengers wanted more space in the cabin, the airline needed their plane to be able to takeoff from small runways like seen on the creative island, and the pilots needed a plane that had more options to change the way the aircraft flies. In 1952, LA released the "Turbo" version of the aircraft, featuring all things that were requested. The original version was retired in 1970, but the "Turbo" version kept being produced all the way until 1998. In 2024, about 6 Turbo's are left in service, and over 20 Turbo's can be spotted in aviation museums as a reminder to how a simple and small aircraft could do this well.

@contributative that is a bug that i am unsure how to fix, and likely won't be fixed due to lack of space. Best that you can do is to hold s while accelerating.

whenever i try to accelerate it the front landing gear just completely gives out which causes me to crash

@LethalJohn the version that has propellers is the destructible aircraft, the one without propellers is the original version made by my friend Random Stuff Uploaded.

nevermind i was using the wrong plane sorry

I can not find the self crash key where exactly is it? I am not sure what the galley is.

@Lucky Tiny Storm That's good anyways.

@Slav it the wings already cut off in portions (the main part with the engines and then the wingtips) i do not plan on updating this with additional destructibility, as that will become too hard to add (there isn't enough space for more microcontrollers)

I do have a aircraft in the works that is extremely softbody and breaks into about 50 pieces, likely more.

Holy shit the fact that the wings are detachable is fucking amazing. Please update this so then it can become more somewhat softbody so then portions of the wings can be cut off.

Yes. As the orginal creator of the Non destructible (and hull off destrructible) version, The engines and the enterior is the way to see the difrence, And the cockpit also isent the same

Tip: the non destructible version doesn't have props, the destructible version has. Incase ya wanna crash, make sure the plane has propellers.
