@akatengi, the ones that you don't manually pick up but get sucked into you after the end of the round are granted to you at the start of next battle round.

When round ends and you see the animation of crystals coming to you, they do not really come to you. Animation goes through but the number stays the same. Keep picking crystalls up because they disapear after a while.
