Hello there
I am a massive fan of CRO's mod Improved Division Designer (You can find it here: https://steamoss.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1240450524)

But sadly, it hasn't been updated in a while and is incompatible with modern-day HOI4. Thus, I decided to take the mantle of updating it to modern HOI4. Folks, I present to you Better Mechanics: Division Designer

Its main (and only) Feature, for now, is to make the division designer more pleasing to the eyes, bringing color to make it more easily distinguishable and beautiful (more of a subjective reason, I know, but you know it looks pretty lovely versus default HOI4, check the screenshots :) ). It also makes organizing better for some reasons. Also it adds 5 more support company slots


This mod should work with any other mod that does not edit the division designer. There aren't many of those, anyway.

it does indeed come up with navy and airforce units.

I think there is a bug with the mod, its coming up with navy hulls instead of the expanded support unit mod

In the beginning, it was only aesthetic but subscribers wanted me to extend the support company slots, so after a poll i did on my discord server, the expand option won and thus I added 5 more support company slots

Hey there! Thanks for keeping CRO.'s work alive—it’s great to see it continued. I noticed in your description that you mention it’s only aesthetical, but I also saw that it unlocks 'up to 10 Support Battalions/Companies (instead of the Vanilla 5).' Could you clarify if there are any additional gameplay changes or features beyond aesthetics? Thanks a lot!

is it possible to add a counter or tooltip on the division ui to show how many special force battalion out of the max a single division uses?
