This mod allows you to quickly randomize your starting map and steam vents locations. Your starting scenario, colonists, items, etc. will all stay the same.
Now includes the map preview generator- rather than trying for random maps, you can pick exactly the map you're looking for from a nearly limitless selection.

Of course, there is a small price to pay- in the form of unmined resources from your map.
The resource cost is optional and can be disabled in the Options > Mod Options dialog.

Important: The HugsLib library mod must also be installed. Make sure both are enabled in the Mods menu and HugsLib is loaded first.

Warning
Use your best judgment when rerolling, and make sure your game has been saved.
This mod has been designed to work with the vanilla game. Mods that include or affect map generation may not work or behave in unexpected ways.

I'm not sure if this has been asked but can we get a option that saves the map permanently so i could use it in a later play through? Maybe another tab next to favorites. I've found one i like but i have to sift through the pages until i find it and that can take a long time

A must have mod for me. Would it be possible to also add a function to reroll faction locations on the world map?

Once you enter a map there should be a red dice on the top right of the screen

How do you use this? There's no popups and I dont see any option whatsoever for a map reroll or preview. I have Hugslib installed and enabled

Same issue as Valiantic never changed my order and just not showing the correct map information for reloads. Making it impossible to know what im going to get. Was fine last time i played a few months ago

Same problem that Tasstass reported on July 28. Every time I try to reroll to a map, it looks nothing like the previews. I cleared my entire mod list and loaded in only map reroll to avoid any conflicts - still can't get it to generate the actual preview.

Load order: Harmony, Core, Royalty, Ideology, Biotech, HugsLibs, Map Reroll.
Trying to load in a large temperate forest 300 x 300 map.

@Scoobs that mod has specific type of maps that place cliff edges or mountain sides. If the map is of any special type determined by Geological Landforms, map reroll will only reroll maps of that type, including mountains on the same side of the map.
