Dismemberment Mod: Classic Edition

This is a modification of [Optimized Dismemberment Mod] that brings back certain sound and particle behaviors from the original GMod 10 version of Dismemberment Mod.

NOTE: If you're getting errors, there's probably not much I can do about it. The mod works just fine on a completely fresh installation of GMod for me, so you're most likely dealing with addon conflicts. Check the console for errors and paste the errors being dumped *AS IS* in the comments, it helps a lot. If you're just gonna say "The mod isn't working" without clarification, save your breath because you're just wasting time.

UPDATE 2025-01-25:
- Added a toggle for classic gibs. The ConVar is a bool called "dismemberment_classicgibs", and can be set in !dmmenu too.

UPDATE 2024-07-28:
- Added a toggle for automatic limb cleanup. The ConVar is a bool called "dismemberment_cleanuplimbs". It can be set in !dmmenu as well.

UPDATE 2022-11-18:
- Added the "dismemberment_gibdelay" ConVar, which you can use to prevent instagibbing when killing an NPC. Set it to 0 to disable it, and set it to a higher value to set the "non-gibbable" time in seconds. To set the value, either use the console or the number box in !dmmenu
- NPC velocity calculations have been fixed, maintaining the damage force applied to them on death properly.

Perhaps you could just add a setting/console variable that lets you configure how long till the blood pools automatically despawn. I didn't remember that being a thing in the OG addon and it could come in handy.

Is there any way to disable the auto-disappear/cleanup for the blood pools? I compared it with the original and it never goes away in that version except when you decide to do an Admin Cleanup from the Spawn Menu.

Look, I've been trying to look into how to fix the Bone in unwriteable error spam. Everything I've tried fails to filter it out, pcall() does nothing. The only thing I know for a fact is the cause of the issue: it's caused by models that have ValveBiped L_Hand and R_Hand bones, but not the full set of finger bones.

I've found a bug with the current release. If I view a bodypart (say, a head) on the edge of my field of view I could see the entirety of the source ragdoll body. This is presumably coming from how this mod works (by duplicating the ragdoll and making other bodyparts invisible except the detached limb). I hope you could resolve this some day.
