Description
Disclaimer: ItchyBeard is a developer on Hydroneer - these mods are made for fun, in my spare time - these items are not part of the base game.

Table Saw
The Table Saw can cut resources (Ores, Bars, Gems) by set amounts, or a specific amount.

How to use the Table Saw?
  • Place resource in the tray on the right side, the weight will appear on the display above the resource.
  • Select either; Half, Third, or Quarter to cut the resource into specific measurements.
  • OR Select a specific weight to cut and press the round button beneath the table to cut at that specific weight.

(Left click the buttons to press them)

Where to find the Table Saw?
The Table saw is located in, what was, Itchy Carts, over in Bridgepour. Itchy Carts has been rebranded to Itchy Parts - this will house future modded items from ItchyBeard.

For anyone who is still having the issue of not being able to place and lock the Table Saw down, I found a temporary solution! If you briefly install the "Build Anywhere" mod by Gamerkuipers, it allows you place the Table Saw down and lock it with a construction hammer. You can then uninstall Build Anywhere if you want, and now you don't have to deal with picking up the Table Saw by accident when using it! This can serve as a temporary solution until ItchyBeard is able to fix the placement issue. (May also work with vanilla Creative Mode, have not tested yet.)

To lock- place, exit to menu with save, back to the game and it is lockable

Is there a way to lock the saw without it being placed? It seems like the build hammer only works when items have been placed vs dropped.

Hey there Itchy, this and storage crates are two of my top 5 favorite mods, so thank you so much for making these. I have a question though, are they available in Volcalidus yet? We can't take anything on the boat with us, and I haven't loaded up my modded save yet to see, as I'm still waiting for other mods to be updated. (Looking at you RFCmodshop devs right now....)

Unfortunately the placement issue isn't something I'll be able to fix without a complete rebuild of the mod from the ground up. (I lost the source code a while back). You can still use the table without placing it, just drop it on the floor and it'll work like normal. Thanks everyone!

I don't know if it is other mods, or if I'm not fully understanding it, but when I try to place the table saw it doesn't let me.
