Shipwreck

Hey there matey!
We managed to find you drifting on a raft in the middle of the sea. As you are most certainly aware, ten years ago the sea level has risen. There's almost no trace of the old civilasation. But don't frown! I'm leading a group of survivors that is working on building a functional town. We were lucky enough to find a wrecked ship and plenty of recources inside. For now you and other "chosen ones" will be building, while we will be keeping an eye on you. From the sunchairs of course!

Textures

Follow the instructions to install custom textures, speech and a song! Without it the map looks ugly.

Shipwreck.cmap Download it and place it into "Custom Prisons" folder ONLY if the prison won't appear in prison selection menu after subscribing here. It's a common bug in this workshop, so there's nothing to worry about.
lightout.ogg Download it and place it in the music folder. You should replace the file when the notification about it comes up.
tiles_cus_jungle.gif Go to the "custom" folder and replace the original tiles_cus_jungle.gif with this one. The change will apply automatically.
ground_cus_jungle Go to the "custom" folder and replace the original with the new one. Once again, the change will automatically apply.

If you're having problems with finding the correct folders, go to your steam library, right click The Escapists -> Browse Local Files. After that it's easy to find everything you need. Another note is that if any original files get lost, there's nothing to worry about. Just uninstall and install the game. They will appear again.

Escapes

There are around 5 intended ways for you to flee this prison. Experiment with different buildings, reach the roofs and don't forget to use the ziplines! Spoilers on how to get intelligence: If getting intelligence proves to be a challenge due to snipers, sneak into the locker next to it at night and have a study session then or risk it by wearing a guard uniform at day. This will let you to read the books for only a short amount of time!

Thanks for another comment Mars!
It must be a curse that you keep escaping all of my prisons on Day 14.
Firstly, about the layout, I gotta agree with you, it's not all that amazing. I've limited myself to set the area with the boat and the bookcase as restricted by stretching the "prison border" halfway across the map, so the "inmate area" is pretty lacking, though I tried to make up to it by making the plane wreck an interesting set piece. And the restricted area of the wooden town is pretty generic, but I've got to blame it on the restrictive nature of the prison editor modding. You can put some detail in there, but not a lot, unfortunately.
Secondly, about the generator, I thought it would be logical that it would be on a giant ship instead of a wooden town floating on water. Yeah, it's not used in most of the escapes, unless you want to make a shortcut for later night exploration.
Overall, I'm quite thankful that I've got a loyal fan.

Escaped this one on Day 14 (funny how on all your prisons I escaped on Day 14), via the Guard Ship route. I liked this one, however not as much as your other two. I liked the theme and lore, that was cool. I thought that the Intelligence gimmick would get really irritating, similar to Santa's Sweatshop, but wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. And locking the Job Board behind a restricted area was such a unique idea, never seen it before in a map. The layout, I wasn't a huge fan of. I dunno, it just didn't feel as interesting or fleshed out as the other two maps were. Felt kinda... basic, at least the main unrestricted area was, from what I saw. The Guard Ship though was a really cool set-piece, I loved that. I found the whole journey to get to the first generator only for us to use it once was annoying. I dunno, maybe it's used more in other routes. Anyways, overall I did like this map. Very solid.

A M A Z I N G map! I just LOVE the way you design this map. It's really unique and give a sense of adventure.

Took me 15 days, could be less if I just focus on one escape route. Instead, I was simultaneously creating 3 different escape routes at the same time lmao.

Overall, 10/10, will try to escape all 5 exits if I have time. Again, AMAZING job.

There is no folder that has the cmap, Lightst out sound file or speach sound either. Where do I put them?

I suggest opening your file explorer and typing into the search bar "custom". Then you should easily find the "custom maps" folder.
If this proves ineffective, you can try going to Steam on your browser, logging in (if you aren't already) and subscribing to this Steam workshop item there. It worked for some of my friends in the past, it's pretty strange.
Let me know how it went!

I started working on it in January, so approximately 1 and a half of a month? Having online classes helped to speed up the work on it. Glad to hear you think it looks cool :D
