Higher Yield Resource Buildings

Description
Updated for Rhesus and Memnon DLC as of 2 January 2022.

Big shout out to ZedClampet for gifting the Rhesus and Memnon DLC - THANK YOU

I felt that the resource yields were rookie numbers so I bumped those numbers up.

This mod increases the yields from all resource buildings. The buff is applied to the buildings and is, therefore, available to the player and the AI. That said, the AI isn't really constrained by building income, so this is practically a player only buff.

Resource yields have generally doubled and (since the AI loves to sack) provide a reduced income even when most buildings are damaged. (Pretty certain they'd have had the slaves picking away at the mines in just about any condition). For thematic consistency, those buildings that require high influence won't provide any income when damaged.

The mod also quadruples the amount of gold, metal, idols, and minerals available in any settlements with such resources. I found the time it took to exhaust these resources was so short that I didn't even have time to fully upgrade the resource extracting buildings. And let's remember, fantasy or not, that Troy is only meant to span a relatively short period of time. Certainly not long enough to mine all the gold out of the ground with bronze pickaxes!

Also, because the AI will have you chasing them round the map as they happily sack city after city, I doubled the enemy campaign movement reduction yield of the watchtowers. Sick of chasing an army stack of 8 rampaging across your countryside? Watchtowers!

This mod is not compatible with any mods that changes the yields of the default buildings. This means it is not compatible with Radious nor, I'd assume, any overhaul mod.

N.B. Steam describes the link above as malicious, so you'd have to copy/paste the URL into your browser if you really want to look. It's just a Google Sheet. I am, most definitely, not a 1337 haxxor. But it's nice of them to suggest so.

can you do ai version?
I've reached a point where I'm bored. I'm waiting for someone to attack me with 3-4 generals at once but he keeps attacking me with 1 and I beat him to pieces even if I play on super hard

@Tom - that is... unexpected. It gives me - the author of said link - the warning too. Not sure what I can do...

not even a problem with the mod, but steam has apparently flagged the doc in the description as a malicious link or whatever lmao

Glad to help!
Yikes, take easy and don't burn yourself out before you finish!
Look forward to your monster mod for TWWH3!

@Space_Lettuce_OG - The mod includes references to buildings in the core game and rhesus & memnon. I'd be surprised to learn that it ran without Rhesus & Memnon so would be good to know. Thanks for the feedback - glad you like the mod. I'm going to be working on an absolutely monster version of this for TWWH3 immortal empires once that arrives. So. Much. Content!

Well, I didn't need the DLC to play this mod, if anyone else was wondering.

That being said, I gotta say, this mod feels like how the game was meant to be played.
I can't imagine why the dev team made the design choice of making the player nation so poor and barely able to field an army, and then let the NPC nations have so many resources from cheats.
Without this mod, the game is just a grind of frustrations after frustration. This mod makes the game actually fun, and more reminiscent of previous Total War titles.

Thank you for this mod.

Does this work without some of the DLC on the required list?
