Description
American Elm by MrMaison

Introducing an American Elm tree (Ulmus americana). This tree is native to North America from Nova Scotia west to Alberta and Montana and south to Florida and Texas. They can grow very tall (over 100 feet). The ones not effected by Dutch elm disease can live for several hundred years. Those that grow naturally in the wild have more genetic diversity making them less likely to develop dutch elm disease. Being used as natural street arches and parks made the urban ones vulnerable to the disease due to the lack of genetic diversity they would have in the wild. I love seeing them on Parkways and rural streets and thank goodness there are no tree diseases in Cities Skylines so we can plant then on our streets, lawns and parks as much as we want :) More info in the wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulmus_americana

strong Suggestions
Tree LOD Fix by TPB
To see them even further without them popping in and out use Ultimate Level Of Detail mod
Boformer's Random Tree Rotation mod
Also BloodyPenguin's No Radioactive Mod and Prop and Tree Anarchy
Sharp Textures mod really makes a difference in how the foliage looks in game.
The Tree De-Duplicator mod is good for when you get double trees.

riyehn- Thanks. This tree is a summer version. In winter there would be no leaves so I didn't put a snow map on it. maybe one day i will make a bare tree version with snow.

Beautiful tree, but I don't see any snow on winter maps. Is this a problem with the tree?
