Outbreak

Description
A map I started late 2017. I had originally put up the version "nmo_outbreak_0101" for testing and it managed to leak out to other servers. You may have already seen this in it's earliest form on various servers. 2 years after that I came back to give it it's final pass and finally release it to the public.

This map is heavily inspired by the original Resident Evil. It's a slow and long map that is not going to please everybody. You will need to explore a mansion and solve Resident Evil styled puzzles to escape with your life.

Thanks to Miza for improving the navigation file.

As for the other secrets:

The dynamite for the weapons vault can be found in the lounge room (with a fireplace and pool table) on the west side of the house on the ground floor. It's inside the fridge on the bottom shelf.

The yellow key for the supply crate closet can be found behind the stained glass portrait of Gordon Freeman in the attic. You have to break the glass to get to it. The key can be used to unlock a closet in the hallway upstairs on the west side of the house.

For anyone having trouble finding the birds:

The first bird is a pigeon , it can be found on a lamp post that's jutting out from the wall near the east side balcony outside.

The second bird is a crow , it can be found on a decorative wooden beam on the west side balcony outside.

the third bird is a seagull , it can be found inside the green cola machine that's located in the cafeteria. You may have to interact with it several times before the seagull falls out of the deposit chute.

Hi, are the Ichthyosaurs in the lab actually dangerous? I'm fucking terrified of them and I can't bring myself to dive into the water

I like the giant zombies. I am immense, 10 foot tall, can bench press over 3 tons and have a Netflix subscription, so I need giant zombies for a fair fight.

that's fair, they spawn in only after all the other zombies are dead.

I really liked this map but the zombies that grow in size really killed how cool this map was. Wish there were more puzzle maps like this

Nice map! I kindda stucked in fining 4 plugs, find many easter eggs, catch the leaving train just out of my ammo(thanks for the powerful FAL).

Where i can find last bird? I found a crow and seagull. Where the last one? And in old version: where i can find last item for the door? I found bird and watermelon
