the mod DOES NOT work when you subscribe. It only works if you manually copy and paste the files, which can be found for download here:

Then copy or cut it and replace in the game directories, the game directory can be found at:

X:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\media
X = C or D and etc...

you have to back-up those files and replace the following files:

l4d2_background01
l4d2_background02
l4d2_background03
l4d2_background04
l4d2_background05

I'm sorry that I'm replying now but I just got the notification.
My file has no sound because it would be inaudible in the game anyway, if you want the opening music, someone has already done it, so I muted the sound and didn't make my own mod with sound for the menu.
Type in steam workshop "Highschool of the Dead Opening menu" and you'll have it.

Does this supposed to have audio on?? I tried it but there was no audio (srry if english bad hehe)
