Description
Introduction
This mod restores some voice lines that Akers was originally going to speak as he stalked the player through Theta.

These lines were originally unmixed, with no special effects or any indication of how they were originally delivered. I therefore had to take some artistic licence and have scripted it to be as if he is communicating with the player telepathically.

This is part of an ongoing project that aims to restore cut SOMA content and expand on the Main Game. As each part is complete I intent to release them individually to retain modularity. Subscribe to my workshop for future content.

Changes:
- Restored voice lines that Akers was originally going to say in the Theta Labs.
- The lines will randomly play whenever he is present in the Theta Labs.
- As his aggression levels increase, the lines he says reflects it.

Is there any known bugs caused by this mod? I'm playing again with all the cutting room floor mods alongside some other add-ons.

When I finally get to the elevator and ride it down to maintenance or transport st., the scripted fall straight up kills me. No waking up, can't save myself, I literally just die when I'm supposed to fall off the ladder.

I have the Ark, Omicron, whichever cutting room floor mod installed, since this mod is related to Delta & the Akers encounter I assume that this mod has something to do with it but I'm at a loss as to whats up otherwise.

In concept, this is a straight up improvement to the base game's encounters with Akers, but in execution, this mod is just... a novel little addition in my opinion. As cool as I thought it was to see his dialogue implemented, I just don't think it was implemented with much depth to go on. Having him just say his lines on loop at spliced intervals throughout his encounters with no set script just doesn't feel very thematically accurate to me. I think it would be MUCH more compelling and true to the game for him to say specific lines during specific events and/or sequences, and for them to not be repeated thereafter, pretty much like Johan Ross.

I know Mav has discontinued their mods, but if anyone else ever wants to do their own spin on this one in particular, it would be cool to see Akers' dialogue implemented in a more plot-driven way! :)

Hello,
I've got a problem with Your Ark, Omicron and Akers dialogue mods. When they're active, the monsters don't attack me. The mods are great, we really needed this in an officla relase, but playing Soma with monsters only as good companions is a bit boring and I need some challenge from a game.
Please help.
