This is a list of custom Left 4 Dead 2 campaigns I've reviewed for the greater good.

I've been playing L4D2 for over 15 years and I'm the guy who made Time to Die and Freezing Point. I know what makes a good campaign and I know how hard it is to make a campaign. As a bonus, I'm also a professional writer.

My feedback is mainly focused on letting players know what they're getting into before they download, but campaign authors may also find it useful if they're still updating their work. These reviews are meant to be a helpful community resource, so I have no intent of being rude or insulting. I'm simply giving my opinion in 1,000 characters or less.

I rate mods on a 5-star scale (no half stars). All campaigns are reviewed under the same conditions — solo Normal with 3 bots and no mods that make the game easier.

• ★★★★★ FANTASTIC - A must-play experience. Keep this permanently installed, even if it's not perfect.
  
• ★★★★ GOOD - Recommended. This campaign has a lot of redeeming qualities despite clear issues.
  
• ★★★ OKAY - Worth a try. There are pros and cons in roughly equal measure, so it's a coin flip if you'll like it.
  
• ★★ POOR - Not recommended. Any redeeming qualities will be hard to appreciate without some patience.
  
• ★ UNPLEASANT - Steer clear. You'd probably have more fun playing anything else unless you're curious to a fault.

Please keep in mind that campaigns with the same rating are not necessarily equal in quality. A star rating is just a general indication of my thoughts.
