The Godherja: The Dying World team is proud to present our first mini-module: Artifacts.

While creating Godherja, we have pushed innovation in order to create unique gameplay systems for our mod. However, we believe in the Cathedral modding model, and want to present our features for the community to use and expand on however they see fit. With that in mind, we are going to be releasing several of our custom features as mini mods for other modders to use or for normal players to enjoy.

All Godherja modules are free to use by all other modders, we only ask that the Godherja: The Dying World team is credited in the description of any releases using the system.

If you wish to expand on the Artifacts system for vanilla and want to see your work in the module, we will be interested in incorporating any high quality expansions within it.

Full documentation for the module can be found in its download folder.



Features

The Artifact module includes:

- 3 Historical Artifacts (the Reichskrone, the Iron Crown of Lombardy, and the Imperial Diadem)
- Artifacts can appear on character models (currently only the Reichskrone)
- Create your own artifacts
- Find artifacts through certain events
- Steal artifacts from enemies in raids or wars
- Full documentation for modders

Future Features

Not all of these features may make it in game, but we are currently looking into adding:

- Renaming artifacts
- New historical artifacts
- New events for gaining or losing artifacts
- New variations of craftable artifacts
- Code cleanup and further modulization for modders

If you are a 3d modeler, we are also interested in possibly adding models for various artifacts. Please contact me if interested.



What is Godherja

Godherja: The Dying World is a Game Mod for Crusader Kings III that is set in a dark fantasy world poised on the edge of the end times. After killing their god in ancient times, humanity has once again shaken the fabrics of reality through the use of world-shattering magics. The world is now dying, and as tribes migrate to the last lands of man and ancient empires crumble, reality itself hangs in the balance. Will you save the world, or end it?

Godherja is an ambitious dark fantasy total conversion mod for Crusader Kings III. Play in dozens of unique cultures, religions, or as hundreds of interesting characters while interacting with tons of new gameplay features such as adventuring or magic. Godherja supplies the players with a deep and fleshed out setting with a compelling narrative of its own, along with an expanded gameplay sandbox that all Crusader Kings III will be sure to enjoy.

Hi man I have a big bug on the interface that has completely changed or the artifact button has completely bugged on interface that no longer displays. Even if I remove your mods the artifact button will still be there.

Wolves, the Godherja team is doing a huge amount of work pretty rapidly. ThePinkPanzer's patreon is pulling in $132/month. At the U.S. Federal Minimum Wage (just one measure), it would be 18 hours of work. I can tell that ThePinkPanzer and Godherja team is putting in way more time than that, and sharing all kinds of modular code like artifacts and cornations.

A lot can go wrong with the Paradox Launcher in terms of mods in which the content seems to disappear for the player. When I have had that problem, I've had to download and install it separately from a zip file.

Yeah the UI for the artifacts dont show up. Funny thing is, using The Way of Kings mod that comes with this mod actually allows the artifact UI to show up, but I'm actually only interested in this modular mod, not the big mod itself. Guess I'll wait till this one is fixed.
