Hello and thank you for checking this out!!

THIS IS THE SAME AS MY OTHER TWO HALO JUMP MODS, BUT COMBINES THEM NOW THAT VEHICLE DROPS ARE AVAILIBLE - GIVING YOU MORE VEHICLES TO CHOSE FROM!

IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS IS A COMPOSITION, NOT A NORMAL MOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This means that you have to do a little extra work to install it, but it's very easy and simple. Like, extremely easy and simple. Just watch the video and all your questions will be answered.


WHAT IS THIS?

This is a super easy to use, super light-weight, immersive HALO/HAHO jump mod. I'm not an experienced modder so that should tell you how simple and easy to use it is. This mod allows you to:

1) Choose ANY desired location to HALO jump
2) Choose different altitudes (2k, 4k, 6k, 8k, 10k meters)
3) Use whatever gear/parachute you want
4) Immersive red light/green light functions in conjunction with cargo ramp opening
5) Singleplayer/multiplayer compatibility
6) Vehicle drops! (Car AND Boats!)


INSTALLATION

1) Watch the f*cking video
2) Right click on the mod in your Arma 3 Launcher -> "Open folder" -> "I Understand"
3) Open the "Immersive HALO Jump" folder
4) Copy the ENTIRE "Compositions" folder
5) Paste in your Arma 3 profile folder (watch the video)
6) Profit.


HOW TO USE

1) In the editor, go to compositions (F2) - > Custom - > Place "Pandemics_USAF+RHS_HALO" or "Pandemics_USAF+RHS_SINGEPLAYER" - the composition now only contains the laptop/table: everything else now spawns dynamically!
----NOTE: You can use the Singleplayer composition in mulitplayer if you are using AI teammates and players
2) Go in game, use the laptop (3 really easy steps, 4 if using singleplayer composition)
----NOTE: Give the plane a couple seconds to process before you board it
----NOTE 2: Only one person needs to select the DZ and altitude, everyone else just needs to hit "board plane"

3) Giving AI team mates (if you have them) parachutes via scrollwheel action will store their current loadout, then give them a parachute, then restore the loadout once they land
4) "Board Plane" will teleport whichever player selects it, and the AI team if you are in command of them (each player needs to select "board plane" who wishes to board)
5) Once in the plane, the red light will automatically turn on which will open the doors on its own. After the doors are open, the green light will turn on and AI team mates (if you have them) will eject)
6) 60 seconds after the greenlight turns on, the plane/marker/everything involved will despawn


HOW TO USE IN ZEUS
1) Open Zeus
2) Go to Groups -> Empty -> Custom Compositions -> Other
3) Place dat comp bro
4) Profit.

Vehicles
-Options for vehicle selections are found below "Board Plane"
-There are two slots for vehicles, you may select one vehicle per slot
-Once you have boarded the plane, an action will become availible TO THE PERSON THAT SET UP THE FLIGHT PLAN/SELECTED VEHICLES when looking at the plane to drop each vehicle
-Select those actions when you're ready to drop and the vehicles will launch out the rear of the plane
-DO NOT STAND IN THE WAY!! YOU WILL GET HURT/DIE!!!!
-Parachutes on vehicles will automatically deploy around ~250m and will automatically have IR strobes attached that will turn off 2 minutes after touching down
-Be sure to check out the RHS compatibile compostion for more vehicles!

KNOWN ISSUES
I just discovered that it does not work when putting the DZ over the ocean. I am working on a fix for this. Fixed as of v1.1

Doesn’t work in SP right now. I’m a SP guy myself so I will be adding this. added as of 1.2

Plane dive bombs when set to 10,000m. This is fixed and will be put in the next update. fixed as of 1.3



FUTURE PLANS

I plan on doing this for RHS's C130 as well, but I'm just having a couple of problems with it at the moment. Out now!
Also adding SP comparability added as of 1.2
I plan on adding a feature to get the AI to keep their packs added as of 1.3
Next update will include vehicle drops added as of 1.4
Next update will include more vehicles (Stomper UGV, MATV etc), IR stobes for AI, and a feature to retain loadout and give player a parachute similar to the function the AI uses.


USER AGREEMENT

Because this is a composition, I don't expect you to make your entire unit download this. Therefore, use it however you want/need. All I ask is if you put this in a mission and upload it, you give me credit (you do not need to make this a dependency). That said, you are NOT allowed to reupload this.

Huge shoutout and credit to Von Quest Industries for the inspiration. If you haven't checked out his mod (Zero Dark Zero) I highly recommend you do. He has a much, much better HALO aspect to his mod that I'll never be able to match and the rest of his mod is utterly amazing anyways.

@Bean even at night? The lights are not really visible during the day, which is why I added the hint "Red Light" and "Green Light"

Lol I finally get to say this: it's not a bug, it's a feature. When you select "give player parachute" (which is optional) it stores the loadout you had prior to selecting that. It then gives you a parachute and once you land it restores the loadout you had before. This is basically just an alternative to using something like the Backpack on Chest mod and it's a quick way to prepare for a jump so you don't have to do anything in the arsenal if you don't want. Like I said though, it's completely optional. It's also nice for if you are wearing HALO gear but when you land you want a boonie and not halo gear; you would set your gear up how you want, then select "give player parachute" then add the HALO gear you want "helmet, goggles/mask etc) in the arsenal. You then carry out everything as normal, and once you land it will automatically give you back your backpack, boonie, etc and remove HALO gear. It's basically a quick, less immersive way of storing gear.

There is a bug when we land, everyone gets his old gear, like if we do another stuff with vest, uniform etc whenever we land it loads the previous gear, any idea how to fix it ?

I don't know if it's just me but for the most part the comp runs fine, but the red light or green light never comes on

Is there a way to add a cool down on this? You use it once, but can't use it again within 15 minutes.

@Pandemic , exept from the SP compositions, what is the differences between this compositions? all of them make me use the C-17 and none of them allow me to use the c130, other differences?

@Pandemic, fantastic mod I've been enjoying this a lot today, is there a reason why i can only get the C-17?, I've tried all the compositions and the C-17 is the only aircraft i spawn in?

Dear Pandemic, i am very interested in your mod but i having trouble getting it to work, i am new to compositions, so i might be messing things up, i followed the instructions in the video but im not sure if i have to add the compositions in the editor? Again im new to compositions so i probably messed a step up, Please Pandemic or anyone who has experienced issues lmk if there is something i am missing.
