So, with Alpha 12 coming, I have returned to play Empyrion again and have amazing moments once more :)
I've been using my Hubble T3 in most of my playthroughs, and, since the old saves are bust, I begin a new. And I immediately missed the comfort of a high vision open cockpit and ability to mine/loot from inside your ship with the drone hatch. So, for my new playthroughs of Alpha 12, Hubble T1 was born.

Here's a link to Hubble T3, if you are wondering what I'm talking about.

**UPDATE (DISCONTINUED): Unfortunately, A12 changed the collision models of led projectors, and Hubble cockpit is wonky and no longer safe to use for that. The Hubble series spacecraft should be considered "discontinued" for that purpose. I've designed another T2-3 SV for the new A12 runs, and ALIAS should serve you better than the Hubble does, in the current version. Link can be found here.**

Also, I've been playing Co-op recently, and there is always a high possiblity that one of your friends go off in your joint SV/CV and strand you in some desolate place :P I want to have a ship I enjoy, and low cost so I can always have one built in the factory already and ready to go for emergencies like these.

Hubble T1 again features an open cockpit with a wide vision angle and a drone hatch. Interior access is available with a slim door next to cockpit, and provides fast and easy frontside exit and entry to the shuttle for your exploration pleasure.

Hubble T1 is even more tightly packed then the previous version, yet the interior space is quite adequate. I also haven't added the constructor, so craft lvl stayed 5. And haven't added the cargo extensions, wireless, passenger seats, so the cost remained low. There are a lot of spots inside that you can place these.

I hate to press F5 many times to find the spot in a ship to launch my drone, so again, drone hatch is a 3x4 shutter which provides easier launching and retrieval of drones.

RP part : ) --Following galactic safety regulations, Hubble will automatically standby it's weapon systems in close proximity to BA/CV ramps, landing areas and on ground touchdowns. Touchdown also turns on the floodlight systems, providing the user a safe EVA area even in pitch black locations. User is warned on cockpit HUD when the aforementioned automatic touchdown procedures are active. All weapon systems are immediately activated upon takeoff, and all floodlights are turned off for power saving except the front facing spotlight.--

Ofc there are no galaxy regulations yet, but I am cheap, and I always try to conserve as much energy as I can.

I removed the other HUD warning projectors from previous versions to cut down the cost. Removed ECO mode since there is no point with small amount of thrusters. Still, the hatch control lever, and P lever (useful to put your ship in a hibernation state when you land, without affecting constructor and fridge) exists in this version of Hubble.

And, as always, thank you for reading, and have fun with your T1 starter version of Hubble :)

PS; Update: 11 Jul @ 6:03pm. Fixed the issue of vessel spawning with thrusters off and landing gears on.

Thank you, @darkarronian

Update: 26 Jul @ 1:29am Updated one block over cockpit to give her a spacier look inside and prevent possible stucking bugs.

Great cheap starter SV

All good. I usually modify the vehicle when I spawn it in Reforged Eden anyways. Most vehicles suffer with the scenario's modification of the CPU and M/V system. Will be tinkering until it fits a specific purpose.

Thank you a lot, @The Salty Snake Chef . I am glad you are enjoying the Hubble :)

I fixed the issue of vessel spawning with thrusters off and landing gears on. Sorry about that. Small details sometimes avoid detection :)

Nice. Your T2 Hubble was great for exploration during Alpha 12 Exp. Now I got a something for Reforged Eden. All my SVs are eating drone bullets.
