Report a translation problem
since you can't patch a metadata file, there's no way for one mod to change the priority of another mod, nor add another mod to that mod's includes section. because of this, the issue circles back around to those old death animation mods needing to update, which is unlikely to happen, since most of those mod developers are gone.
but like i said, starbound will prioritize its own load order system over the steam one. if two mods have the same priority, the workshop load order will likely allow you to shift them around, this is true. but if one mod has a priority value over the other, i very much doubt the workshop load order is going to affect them.
