Trinket Variety Project Legacy

Now requires Asset Variety Project

Welcome to Trinket Variety Project. A mod aiming to bring more variety in the trinkets you can find when playing.
The goal was to add more universal trinkets since some class mods lack interesting trinkets.

Features
- 170 trinkets for you to collect
- Craftable trinkets. Collect Unidentified weapons and use them on a curio in the Hamlet to create weapons trinkets with Enchantements and Traits
- Collect powerful Lost Relics by going on a though missio. These are aimed at the late game
- New quest in the Cove where you collect lost shipments which have a chance to give Enchanted Trinkets or Unidentified Weapons
- Brigand Scavenger that drops Unidentfied Weapons if you manage to kill him quickly enough
- Class Equipments for vanilla + dlc classes that aim to make less interesting skills viable and make interesting builds (atleast 2 per class)

Trinket Damage Types
You will notice that some of the trinkets have damage of a certain type like 'Fire'.
Each damage type gives a hidden damage boost based on a condition.
Below are all the current damage types:

- FIRE: +1 Damage vs Beast
- LIGHT: +1 Damage if torch above 50
- SHARP: +1 Damage vs Bleeding
- TOXIC: +1 Damage vs Man
- MAGIC: +1 Damage vs Eldritch
- DARK: +1 Damage if torch below 50
- HOLY: +1 Damage vs Unholy
- POISON: +1 Damage vs Blighted
- SHOCK: +1 Damage vs Marked
- FROST: +1 Damage vs Stunned

I added these damage types mostly for asthetic reasons as it looks nice on the tooltip xD.

Synergies
Monster Variety Project
If you use both mods then you get the following things:
- Ambusher on Relic quest can be one of the mini-bosses of Monster Variety
- Some monsters from Monster Variety have chance to drop Unidentfied Weapons

In shipment quest should i use something on those crates couse all i gain from them is 1 random gem ?

This might be very strange but whenever i try and do any of the missions for the hamlet i cant enter any rooms from the hallway. It only happens with the stuff from the hamlet if anyone knows how to fix this id appreciate it as it is rather annyoing to not be able ot make use of this mods content.

In conclusion, enchanted fronline relic gives so low stats for too much decreased hp or acc, if i equip both of the set i get like 50% less hp and only abt 50% dmg more, i can easily change with other stuff, that gives me much less penalities.
There are some good enchantments, if u get lucky enough to get them..... too much rng on getting the right enchants.
There are only some good class item, that can be used instead of normal character relics .-.
The idea was good, but comparing the effort with the result i kinda don't really enjoy this mod

Yea going forgot it shouldn't happen anymore. Steam has this nice feature where we can add mod dependencies. But for some reason there's no way to let the subs know that they are lacking them.

Oh. Okay. Didn't know about the recent bug issues.
Also, I know it says that, but I only saw it after trying to figure out what mod was crashing the game constantly, with no indication it was this mod.
I know now it requires asset variety project, but I hadn't played Darkest Dungeon in a long time, and the last time I loaded it up, it worked just fine, and then it started to crash.
I didn't expect to need to read this mod's page again after taking a break from Darkest Dungeon.
That's my bad.

Look at the very top line. It literally says that it now requires Asset Variety. Also the bug you mention seems to be a bug due to recent patches. Some stuff is still broken and we're waiting for RH to patch out the issues.

I will go through a week soon, and see if the trinket spam is still an issue, but having every single zone reward with very few exceptions all be from this mod, that's a little weird.
And they're all the crafted ones too, not any of the other items you added.

So, this mod seems to have gotten crazy, with all due respect.

First, there was no indication anywhere that I needed to have Asset Variety Project installed, so, I thought something was corrupted. Until I did a check of every mod I had that added trinkets, and then figured it was this mod somehow that was broken. Leading me to discover the Asset Variety Project.

Secondly, your trinkets have overtaken all other trinkets in the list of zone rewards for 85% of them, including overriding all Crimson Court Trinket spawns! Literally, not even Crimson Court Trinkets show up.

So, something is seriously broken here.
