Another test thing. Drag it around and nothing happens, but give it a good bump and the threshold gate should provide a pulse. If you increase with the minimum threshold value, this should work for detecting collisions in ships.

I'm averaging the delta of a number of frames (5 in this example) instead of just using the instantaneous change, because I suspect this will be a better representation of a real collision.
